❛    LET ’ S  SEE ,   DOES  SHE  ACTIVELY  IGNORES  YOU ?     because  let  me  tell  you  something  ———   GIRLHOOD IS COMPLICATED ENOUGH WITHOUT FEELINGS INVOLVED.     i  can  only  imagine  how  awful  it  is  when  you  add  them  to  the  equation .       BUT  WHAT  I  CAN  TELL  YOU  FROM  EXPERIENCE  is  that  she  probably  doesn ’ t  know  how  to  act  around  you ,   so  you  must  understand  that  and  give  her  some  time .       i ’ m  hopeful  that  sooner  than  later  you  two  are  going  to  get  along  pretty  well ,   you  will  see !     ❜

❛    COULD  I  POSSIBLY  GET  ONE  FOR  MY  LITTLE  BROTHER ?     you  see ,   if  i  tell  him  i  met  an  elf  and  there  were  cookies  involved ,  i ’ m  afraid  i  will  see  no  end  to  the  discussion .     or  worse,  he  could  end  up  burning  me  out  of  spite !    ❜
