                 call her CLICHÉ, but she can’t help but smile---even if her days of writing letters to kris kringle are long gone, she still plays into the holiday, holding memories of leaving out cookies for santa and trail mix for the reindeer close to her heart. so what if this is coming from a mall elf a little too into the holiday spirit? she’ll happily play along, bowing her head respectfully.   ‘ I’m just doing my part to make the world a happier---and safer---place for everyone. send santa my best regards---i’m making him sugar cookies this year. ’

       A STRANGE MAN DRESSED AS AN ELF should be enough to warrant alarm in the warrior’s mind. but once he approaches, she doesn’t react in a negative fashion as she normally would. this ‘ elf ‘ sounded so endearing   &   genuine that mako didn’t have the heart to say or do anything to defend herself   ;   there was no need to defend herself, as he seemed harmless. pearly whites expose themselves in a large grin, head tilting slightly as she offers a small thanks. “   no one has ever told me that before,   “ she mused, cheeks exposing a crimson shade that bubbled above the surface. “   your hair looks nice too !   “
