This past Saturday August 12 the Sudanese communist leader and writer Fatima Ahmed Ibrahim passed away. She was the first woman in Africa and the Arab speaking world to become a member of parliament. In 1952 she founded the Sudanese Women’s Union with other women and fought for women’s rights across Sudan. May she rest in power and her struggle to continue to inspire future generations of revolutionaries in Sudan, Africa and the world. 

Hey guys, so my husband of 2 years is currently in the middle of trying to transition. He is so amazing and everything I could ever ask for but he just really isn’t satisfied with his life because he feels like he can’t live it the way he’s supposed to. We really can’t afford for him to start T but we can’t afford (emotionally) for him not to. He has lived all of his adult (and the majority of his teenage) life as a man, so I cannot post on Facebook about this, as it would be outting him. So please, my tumblr peeps, you guys are our only hope to reaching this goal so that my husband can live the life he was always meant to live. ANYTHING will help. Bless.
