Toast, our boy cat, has had a reoccurring UTI problem since he was a year old. The prescription food we have him on helps- but right now, there may be another issue in that vein, and we are unsure of what exactly is going on. He's struggling to pee again- and trying to go in places that is not his litter box, which is a sign from him that something is wrong, as he only does that when he's struggling.

Me and my fiance are currently out of a job- and have maybe $20 on us now. We struggled to buy some extra groceries today when we went out- and when we got back, he was showing signs of discomfort. We're going to need to take him into the vets- but we literally cannot afford to pay that bill. We need help.

He did in fact have a urinary blockage, which was about what we expected. This is like... his seventh, i think, in his three-ish years of life. We got denied for both CareCredit and Scratch, which is kind of the payment plan/insurance kind of thing, and we have to make up $500 before anything, else the 'only thing' they can do is put him down. Which is some fucking bullshit, and I am not doing that to my fucking cat who isn't even four years old yet.

Our dog Cannabis has an infected bump on his tail? This is the second time his tail has had a bump reoccur and bleed, and we can't afford the vet bills, since neither me nor my fiance are currently employed (looking, we both have interviews set up, but we know how the job market is like currently)

We are doing what we can at home (vet approved from when this first happened) but it feels like there's something more, something we can't take care of.
