Some realms wouldn't be on board with the idea of updating their curriculum right away, sticking to what they did before at first, but I feel like when your entire world suddenly mashes itself with 16 other completely new environments, some adjustments must be made no matter what. 

Crossroads especially would have to grapple with the fact that they have to handle a very mixed group of children from very different cultures. If they did figure it out, Lloyd would make it mandatory for all underage ninja to attend at least some of the classes for sure. 

Arin would take it well, he’d say that if Lloyd didn't make him go, his own parents would. Frak would similarly be okay with it. He’d find hanging out with Arin during lunch breaks nostalgic. 

Sora would be incredibly grumpy about the whole ordeal. She’d claim that the schools in Imperium were far more advanced than in most realms, and the amount of time she actually DID attend school before the Merge “taught her everything she needs to know already”. For Wildfire Lloyd would immediately become enemy number one, and she’d be about ready to fist fight him for her right to stay at home until Kai intervenes. If Euphrasia officially joins the Monastery sometime soon, she’d be the most excited about school out of all the new ninja. I imagine school looks very different in Cloud Kingdom and she’d be curious to experience something new. 

All the kids would be quite upset about missing some of the action and skipping missions, but I think Lloyd would prefer that for them in a sense. He of all people knows what it means to lose one’s childhood way too early and he REALLY wouldn't want to make these teens into child soldiers. Besides, anyone would be lying if they’d say they are not at least a bit interested in how schools even work post Merge. 

Just imagine how complicated history classes would become. There would definitely be a need to invent a new subject that explains the modern history of the Merged Lands realm by realm, just to catch everyone up with various lores, and given the fact that our ninja have been running around for the past few years, preventing crisis after crisis, there is no way that they wouldn't be mentioned in the variety of history textbooks. 

The first time the kids bring their homework on the history of Ninjago back from school, the Monastery turns into chaos. Zane and Nya try to convince everyone to let them help, because “they practically lived through half of the book’s content themselves” and then they end up in a heated argument about a very minor detail on the timeline that the chapter wasn’t even about. Cole tries to help, but then he gets distracted, and instead he starts going on and on about this really nice restaurant he went to right after the Great Devourer fiasco, or he’d get emotional because Lloyd was so itty bitty tiny back then. Jay would point out that nothing they wrote in the book is even accurate (a statement supported by both Nya and Zane). He would also argue that since both Kai and Lloyd barely attended school themselves they “won’t be much help with the homework anyway” (I headcanon Kai to not have much of an education because he had to take care of Nya and the blacksmith shop from a young age and Lloyd basically got kicked out of school at the ripe age of 10 and never went back).

Kai doesn't really care about the history homework, he just flips through all the pages, trying to find every time he is mentioned to make sure they made him look cool. Accuracy is of no concern to him. Lloyd is lowkey crashing out, trying to find out how much of his personal life has become public knowledge. He is about ready to start a campaign to ban every book that mentions the events of season 5, or season 8 even remotely. Or season 9 and 10 for that matter. Crystalized too. Or that time he talked to a wolf for 4 days straight or that time he had a one-sided beef with Shintaro’s princess and also oh FSM so many of these villains had a personal grievance against him, he doesn't want the kids to learn that! Wyldfyre, seeing him in so much distress over this, considers it poetic justice and his rightful punishment for ever making any of them go to school in the first place.
