NINJAGO OC TIME

This is Aspen :D

She's an Oni-Serpentine cross, about 3/4 serpentine (hypnobrai), only 1 quarter Oni.

Snake/oni form :D

She has a little bit of shapeshifting abilities, which is why she looks like a human, but she still can't get rid of some of her inhuman traits (Teal hair, red slitted eyes, forked tongue, horns, and ofc her small cheek oni markings)

So I am bending lore a bit, to say that when Mistake crossed over with the others, one of the other young Oni ran when Mistake turned on them, hiding in ninjago, eventually finding the serpentine. One of the hypnobrai gave then a place to stay and safety and eventually they fell love <3. Fast forward some shapeshifting and shenanigans later, the first serpentine Oni cross. Because of the Oni blood, they lived seperately from the other serpentine, so when the serpentine wars rolled around, they didn't participate, and weren't effected by the flute. (Keep in mind this is over the course of thousands of years)

Eventually Aspen is born, found by a human woman and raised, which is why Aspen mostly stays in human form, because her mama was a human :<

OK so my two OCs Fey and Aru. Basically I wanted to create something as whimsical as possible, cottagecore to the max, so I doodled Fey.

Then later I came up with Aru, her younger brother.

Fey is the green one, mushroom hat, brown cloak thing. She's about a teenager, very independent, and loves indentifying plants and herbs, storing everything in her journal (which is in turn kept in her bag.) She's quite fond of fungi, identifying all kinds and growing some in their house cellar. She's quiet, knowledgeable, and very kind.

Aru is about 6-8 (havent decided) and curious about everything. When he isn't exploring, he's watching his big sister journal or digging up things in their backyard. He loves flowers, always finding new ones and taking them to Fey so she can tell him what they are. Fey has started to help him dry some of the ones he finds, pressing them in between her books. He also loves bugs, insects, any crawly critters, especially butterflies.

Fey was the one who made his cloak, sewn to match her hat, which she foraged from underneath one of the older trees (she had to find one small enough to fit her head). When Aru got old enough to come with her, he had to get his own hat (FLOWER POWER)

They both live in a tree, hollowed out because they needed a home and the forest provided. All their homes are alive, with the tree and the space inside growing when they need. These special trees are all sizes, stout, tall, wide, whatever suits your needs.

Fey and Aru live on their own, with Fey taking care of him. He only ever really listens to her, and she's very protective of him. Their parents... um that's a later question.

They don't really have a species, per-se. Everyone in the forest looks different, between size, colour, horns, ears, wings, etc.

Like how Aru is blue with a stout horns/ears and Fey has long, pointy green ears and stretched horns.

They sometimes visit town or their neighbours, but they live a pretty quiet life by themselves.

I also have a vague storyline/idea at least for the first bit.
