I went into school today to meet with my new assistant principal to plan our professional development for new teachers. I also walked around the school to see who has be in to set up their rooms and talked to some people who were in... (then I went grocery shopping)... then I came home and crashed on the couch... not even working yet is so exhausting!

Guess what! Today I fell on my butt and skidded down 1/2 a mountain (like maybe 20 yards) on my butt and now my butt hurts. So now I'm sitting in my zero gravity lawn chair in the living room because it doesn't put pressure on my injured butt. And guess what else! It's hot outside and I don't like it. That's my news. Sam coming into this meeting with some people from the Progressive caucus and starting of with a dumb comment about writing like a girl, going on a rant about how much the rich pay and can't we be nicer about that, and then returning to the woman who called out his comment about the girlish writing because while he can dish out sexist remarks, Sam Seaborn can't stomach the idea of anyone considering him sexist. The way Sam can pivot between being so likeable and such a hard to root for character is really fascinating.
