The night before grad I was rushing to find new dress pants because Im sick of wearing women's dress pants, their the closest thing I could get to look masculine without my mom getting mad but I hate how they make me look. Anyways, I normally get nervous going into the men's section because I don't pass at all and I always get dirty looks, especially from older men, which I think contributes to why I don't like thrifting. This time while looking for dress pants there was an old man in the same section so I was nervous like always, I thought he'd say something about how I was in the wrong section or something. I made a joke to my sister about how the pants I wanted had a hole in them and he laughed, then he asked what size I was looking for and told me he'd keep an eye out for a pair my size. He found a pair and told me the brand was really good and would last a while, not to mention their normally over $100 and I was able to get them for $11. That was the highlight of my week I think, instead of being made fun of I was actually helped instead!!
