Simex (Stylised as SimEx) is an imaginary device of an imaginary futuristic brand. The device is a so called “artificial brain stimulant” –a term familiar to the inhabitants of this alternate future- which takes control of the brain and effectively makes possible to experience artificial emotions and experiences that feel real. SimTape is a tape designed to be used with SimEx machines. Each tape is filled with varying experiences to be chosen by the user. In this alternate distant future, the non-existent prospects of living on a decaying earth, the failed colonisation attempts of Mars and the futile attempts to live in space have all lead to the birth of SimEx; the company that offers people an alternate reality, an escape.
