Yes, we are upset about it. Brave activists are working hard to make it possible. To achieve this, we need to be alive and have a Ukrainian state, not the occupational administration of homophobic Russia that literally executed gay men in one of its regions some years ago.

Unfortunately, progressive changes need some time to become a reality worldwide. It was not long ago that the US did it on the federal level. We are not so quick in Ukraine; that's sad. But it's just a point in our to-do list, not something that will never be changed.

There are bizarre things in each and every country. For me, as a European, it's way more unbelievable that the US still have the death penalty. So that then? Should we Europeans cancel the US once and forever because of this and declare the whole nation unworthy?

This is unspeakable injustice and violation of international law. We need to do whatever we can to help these people.
