────» purpose & goals «────
Imran’s return to Lunar Cove wasn’t driven by ambition, but by responsibility. Though he built a life outside of town with his husband, he could never fully turn his back on the pack that raised him.
After the events of the masquerade and JC’s phone call, he recognised that remaining on the sidelines was no longer enough. His purpose is to help steady a pack that has endured years of upheaval, strengthen the relationships within the pack and help those affected by recent tragedies heal. He’ll offer counsel to those that want and need. The main goal is to support JC so the Alpha doesn’t have to carry everything alone.
────» background «────
Born a werewolf and raised in Lunar Cove, Imran Shah only ever left town to study psychology, with a desire to help everyone. As the town’s therapist, he became a quiet constant within the community, someone pack mates and humans alike trusted to listen without judgement. After marrying his husband, a fellow Lunar Cove native and a human who had grown weary of a lifetime spent surrounded by supernatural disasters, Imran chose to leave town with him in search of a quieter, more ordinary life.
Even so, he could never fully sever his ties to the pack. He returned from time to time to maintain those close friendships he formed within Lunar Cove. Through Saskia Alders’ leadership, her death, and the transitions between Júlio César Carvalho and Nico Castillo as Alpha, Imran offered counsel and help in trying and changing times. Though respected, Imran never sought leadership for himself. With years of shared history and a close friendship, after the masquerade that claimed the life of Bobby Spencer, and left JC shaken by his own loss of control, Imran realised from JC’s phone call that his Alpha wanted another capable wolf at his side, and someone who he could trust completely. Though reluctant to step into a formal leadership role and disrupt the balanced life he had built with his husband, Imran accepted the position of Interim Advisor out of duty to the people and the town he loved.
Where JC leads with passion and instinct, Imran offers patience, perspective, and the emotional insight to keep difficult conversations moving forward without diminishing the Alpha’s authority. He has little interest in power, so when he questions JC, it is never to oppose him, but to help him lead more effectively. Compassionate without being naive, observant without being intrusive, and steadfast when difficult decisions must be made, Imran wants to leave things better and steadier than he found them.
