If perhaps to mess with him a little, the boy completely ignored it. Putting on his best poker face, he scratched the side of his nose and sniffed. One could argue that the red beneath his eyes was giving him away completely. “Pizza Rolls. I remember how much you inhaled from the last time so I figured you’d enjoy them this time, too- Don’t worry about eating them all either, I don’t think Milagro likes them too much. Too greasy for her."

"By the way…"

He smiled again, loosing his train of thought upon hearing the beeping of the microwave going off downstairs, and turned to face the little sneak who was fidgeting like crazy on the edge of his mattress. Maybe it was just his way of coping with his powers, like what Nightwing had told him with Kid Flash. Sitting there trying to find a way to get his antsy-ness out. Someway besides just running it all off. 

Bart probably never got tired, either…Jaime felt his smile fading away at the thought of Bart laying jittery in his bed and unable to sleep. Maybe just as spur of the moment as Bart had done earlier, Jaime quickly put his hands onto the boys shoulders and leaned in to kiss him back. It was still as nice as it had been a few hours ago. Slowly, slowly he kept his lips in their place just a bit longer, two of his fingers floating up to ghost the edge of his chin.

His eyes lit up excitedly at the mention of Pizza Rolls. The fact alone that anyone could dislike those was ridiculous to him.If you liked pizza, (andcomeon-whodoesn'tlikepizza?!) why wouldn't you like it tiny and in a roll shape? They were truly something his past had been missing out on.

"Crash! I wasn't exactly worried about eating them all, - but it's good to know they won't be missed."

"But anyw- mmmf" He hadn't really paid attention to the closeness of the other boy, not until his lips were on his own, at least. Bart was completely new to kissing, but he was quickly learning that he really really liked it. Would it have felt the same if he was kissing someone else? Someone he barely knew? Probably not... He didn't want Jaime to leave - he wanted to run his hands through his hair and across his shoulders and kiss him some more. But-

He also really wanted those Pizza Rolls.

"Right, right. Sorry. slow... I can do that..." He could do that. Maybe? Slow wasn't his forte, being a speedster 'n all, but he could slow things down sometimes, it was hard for him but he could do it.

His life was /such/ a hard one, kissing or pizza?. He didn't really get a choice anyway because Jaime was gone and out of the room quick enough. After all, the house could set on fire if they were left down there...and that would be moded.

Having Bart as a boyfriend might be something of a handful…But in the end, it was worth it. Jaime supposed there were pros and cons in every relationship. Having someone hyper, who could be slightly annoying at times, who was also… Someone trustworthy. Someone nice. Someone who always wore a big smile and tried to make the best out of everything. Someone he knew had his back.

And ah. He actually looks kinda cute laying on that bed like he owned it. In fact he pretty much did that with everything, didn’t he? Thinking deeper about it, Bart probably did that for some kind of psychological reason that he wasn’t going to ask about. Even if he asked, there was no telling if Bart would know the answer himself.

There was a small, tiny, non-scarab voice now in his head that was pressuring him to sit on the bed too. Kiss him again, it said, he’s just laying there, it said, he could just move if he didn’t want to, it said- But for now…He simply placed the drink on his nightstand began to start up his Xbox.

“Drink, hermano.”

With a quickly spoken thank you, Bart sat up on the bed, scooting backwards so he could lean against the headboard, grabbing the drink once he was comfortable against the pillows. He took a long, refreshing sip, glad for the coldness of the water. Green eyes following the hoodie that Jaime had thrown across the room. He'd always wanted to wear one of those...maybe he could at some point. If he stole borrowed it, would Jaime notice? Or mind even?

"Eh. S'cool. Not like you control the weather or anything."

Placing the water back onto the nightstand with a shrug, he rolled back down to the end of the bed. He was closer to Jaime here and...he paused - gaining an idea and a mischievous glint in his eyes. Standing up from where he had been previously rolling on the bed, he inched closer to his boyfriend, slow enough that he could quite easily move out of his way if he wanted.

Just a bit closer and - he stopped flashing a grin before quickly (slow for him) pecking the other boy sweetly on the lips. The second he pulled away he used his superspeed to get back onto the bed, sitting up against the headboard and drinking his water. Acting as nonchalant as he could pull off.

As if he hadn't just stolen a kiss.

The look of surprise on Jaime's face almost made him laugh and blow his 'pretend I did nothing' cover. Messing with Jaime had always been fun, now he just had more possibilities and ways to do just that.
