hey, gimme a break. i’m hardly even online anymore, so let me take a minute or five today to express how much i goddamn love you all. seriously.

first, let me start with the obligatory i-honestly-didn’t-expect-to-get-this-many-followers speech, which is cliche but true. when i started roleplaying as jinx, i never dreamed that i’d even pass the 100 mark, let alone the 1.5k mark. it is truly outstanding. i am so grateful for everyone who has taken the time to click that little follow button on my blog and for everyone who has been with me through this wonderful journey as a jinx rper, whether you’ve been with me since the start, or you’ve just started following me now—i appreciate you. i appreciate you all so much. ♥

So — Christmas is just around the corner and 2015 is swiftly approaching. In light of this, I think it’s a good time for another follow forever to commemorate the occasion — not to mention I promised a follow forever for 1,400+ followers, and I’m now closer to 1,500 (!!!okay really guys what black magic did I accidentally perform to keep you all around because holy shit), making this long overdue. There’s also the fact that I will, very soon, be turning eighteen years old, and bearing in mind that I’ve been roleplaying as Red X since I was at least fifteen (perhaps fourteen, I can’t remember)…well, it feels like a long ass time for me, at least. Over the last few years I’ve accumulated many friends in the roleplay community whom I feel the need to acknowledge.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been nowhere near as active over the past few months as I should have been, and I’m sorry about that. Nevertheless, however inactive I’ve been, this muse is my baby, and the time I’ve spent on here has been fantastic. I’ve had the opportunity to interact with, or even just follow and read the writing of, many amazing roleplayers, to talk to and befriend many wonderful muns, to develop my own muse and writing style and self confidence through roleplaying.

I love this roleplay community. I love my followers. I love my mutuals and roleplay partners. And though I’m busier now than I used to be, I still love this blog and I intend to continue running it for many years more.

So here’s to all the memories created in 2014 — and to the many memories we’ll create together in 2015! Here’s hoping it turns out to be a wonderful year, for all of you. And whatever you celebrate this winter — Christmas or Hanukkah or something else or nothing at all — I hope you enjoy yourselves and are spending the season with people who love you, online or offline, friends or family. ♥
