literally it isn’t even over yet and

last night at the public viewing of the election live stream at my university, people were CHEERING FOR TRUMP. i am german. visiting a concentration camp with your school is mandatory in many of our states. we remember what happened in the 1930s. we can see it happening again and we’re powerless to change anything. we’re crying. we’re shocked. just like the 3rd reich dragged everyone into a world wide war, the US could to the same. i’m not saying it WILL. but we are scared.

also, if the old orange administration (i can’t bring myself to write the words “trump administration”) starts a war with “just” russia, for example, guess who’s right in the fucking middle? europe.

and lastly, we feel so fucking sorry. we are scared for the safety of every trans person, gay person, black person, hispanic person, muslim person, disabled person, native person, (and many more), in the US. we don’t want people to suffer. we have so much sympathy. and we’re also scared that our own country (in my case germany) might be next.

i hope every single one of my followers stays safe in the coming days, months, and years. i wish there was something i could do. but if any one of you every wants to seriously get out of the US, i have two spare mattresses in the east of germany and you are always welcome. i am dead serious. i’ll help you find an apartment, i’ll help you find a job, i’m a german teacher and i will teach you german if you need/want to.

aaand how could i forget the economic repercussions? taxes, import/export fees, trade agreements, boycotts…go wild
