QPOC + dyed hair
the Queer People Of Color flag was created by @queerwitchqueenofcolor on March 29th, 2016. it was created to demand visibility, recognition, equality, and respect for the queer people of color in the LGBTQIA+ community, and to send a message to the mainstream media that QPOC will not be silenced. the colors within the fist represent the skin tones of QPOC, from the lightest (representing North Asians and biracial people), to the deepest brown. the power fist itself, which is used in both Black Power and Chicano Power movements, symbolizes the unity of QPOC throughout the community
