tf did they put in these tonics
au where rumi never gets jinu's letter, mistaking derpy & sussie for tonic induced hallucinations
Guys can we talk about Zoey?
Like Zoey. Zoey Zoey Zoey.
God, poor Zoey.
Her biggest fear has always been this exact nightmare: being way too much and never enough, all at the same time. And she is that. She’s lived it every single day.
She’s too loud, too hyper, too clingy, too bouncy, too full of rapid fire thoughts and turtle memes and endless energy that never knows when to shut the fuck up. She latches onto people with that bright, disarming smile and those big sparkling eyes and pulls them in so easily. Who doesn’t love the bubbly maknae? Who doesn’t want a little sunshine ball running around making everyone laugh and feel a little lighter? She’s the emotional glue, the one who remembers the small things, the one who gives hugs like she’s scared the moment will disappear if she lets go.
But the second someone leans in closer? The second they stop laughing at the surface and actually try to see her? There’s nothing substantial there. She’s not enough. She takes up so much space, demands so much attention with her chaos and her feelings and her constant need to be needed, but underneath all the glitter and hair and perky optimism?
Hollow.
Shallow.
Not enough depth to keep anyone’s interest once the novelty fades. She’s exhausting. She’s draining. She’s the girl who pours everything out and still somehow ends up feeling like she’s stealing oxygen from the room.
Even Gwi-Ma saw it. The demon king looked straight into her and offered the one thing she’s always secretly wanted: a way to finally be enough. Not too much, not too little. Just right. Powerful. Focused. Wanted. Useful. For one weak, desperate moment she almost took it because anything felt better than this endless tightrope of being the cute but ultimately disposable maknae. But now he’s gone, the offer is dust, and she’s back to being imperfect, scattered, not quite enough Zoey again.
And don’t even pretend the fanfics fixes it.
Even in the fandom’s favorite fantasy where Rumi and Mira choose her too, where she gets to crawl into their little found-family polycule, she’s still the afterthought. The third wheel who got invited out of pity.
Mira and Rumi? They burn. They clash like fire and gasoline. The sharp tongued punk and the burdened, self loathing leader with all that delicious tension, protectiveness, and slow burn angst. Authors eat that shit up. Thousands of fics, long chapters, endless tag variations just exploring the two of them, how they fight, how they break, how they heal each other. That’s the real candy. That’s the pairing people actually want to sink their teeth into.
//And she still in the background too im crine//
But Zoey? She’s the sprinkles. The optional extra. The “and Zoey” at the end of the summary. Even when someone does write her as a love interest for both of them, the focus inevitably slides right back to Rumi and Mira’s chemistry. Zoey’s there for the fluff scenes. The comic relief moments. The one who gets kissed when the other two need a breather. She’s background noise in her own goddamn relationship.
And the worst part? When authors do try to focus on her, when they actually attempt a Zoey centric story or give her real page time… what do they give her? Divorced parents. Maybe some vague “felt weird and ostracized in California” angst. A little cultural identity struggle about being Korean-American. Tragic? Sure, on paper. But so dull. So generic. It doesn’t hit. It doesn’t cut deep like Rumi’s visceral self hatred and demon marks or Mira’s raw abandonment wounds and temper.
Zoey’s just… there. A bubbly, funny, hyperactive comic relief girl with ADHD headcanons and people-pleasing issues. Cute. Relatable in a surface-level way. But not interesting. Not complex enough. Not broken in the beautiful, poetic ways that make readers obsessed.
No wonder no one wants to focus on her.
Even in the fics that tag her prominently, she ends up sidelined. The plot drifts. The emotional weight lands on Rumi’s shame or Mira’s anger. Zoey gets a few soft scenes where she cries and gets hugged, maybe writes some touching lyrics, then fades into the background again while the real story happens between the other two. She’s not tortured enough. Not angry enough. Not sexy, broken enough. She’s the vitamin pill. The emotional support maknae. The one who makes everyone else feel better but never quite earns the same spotlight. Not a good enough candy. Not substantial enough to carry a scene, let alone a whole fic. Just too much chaos, not enough meat.
So she’ll keep smiling that big, bright smile. Keep bouncing around like everything’s fine. Keep writing lyrics about belonging while feeling like the weakest link in the group she’d burn the world for. Keep being the one who loves the hardest and still somehow ends up feeling like an accessory.
Because that’s Zoey.
Too much.
Never enough.
And deep down
She’s just not that interesting.
Did you guys think that the way Miyeong dies in Celine arms in Two's Company was kinda like Célia St. James diying on Evelyn's, too?
It's been I while since I read tho I just remember crying a lot
Silence hung between them, only her gravestone, Miyeong's, staring back at them. Years without speaking, years of unresolved resentment, and the two stood there in front of each other. Sol sat down on the ground at one point, and Celine just watched, patting the spot beside her twice, inviting her to sit down too.
Celine considered for two seconds before sitting down as well. "You've aged," Celine remarked with a small smile, and Sol chuckled. "Look who's talking," they both laughed briefly.
Sol spoke again, "And your dark circles are quite noticeable."
"I've given up trying to deal with them, honestly," Celine replied, noticing Sol watching her.
"Have you been able to sleep?"
"I have..." Celine asked, tilting her head in surprise.
"No, I'm not talking about two hours after lunch, I'm talking about eight hours every night," Sol said as if she knew her, she does actually, and as if it were instinct, Celine tried not to worry her.
"Look... I can be sure that last week I slept eight hours." She looked at Sol, who was staring at her with half-closed eyes, and then looked ahead again. "No, I haven't been sleeping," she admitted, and Sol laughed humorlessly.
"You've always had trouble sleeping alone." Her expression turned serious. Celine looked at her for a moment.
"Were you able to sleep after... after what happened, thought?" The gravestone remained there, motionless, unchanging.
Sol took a deep breath and gave a small smile that didn't reach her eyes. "It's not that difficult to sleep with medication, with alcohol, with men... with women." She looked at Celine, who raised her eyebrows. "With anything that would stop me from thinking about you." Celine clenched her jaw, and again there was silence.
When Celine felt she was losing her courage, she spoke without thinking, "Do you want... to come to my house, maybe we can talk, I don't know..." Sol laughed, and Celine could see the tears. "And then we yell at each other, throwing all the resentment we've been holding for years?" she said ironically.
"Yes, actually." Celine, however, answered without looking at her and hugged her knees to her chest. Sol looked at her in surprise and then shook her head, understanding what Celine meant. She laughed, which sounded more like a sob. Sol got up from the ground and brushed the dirt off her clothes. Celine closed her eyes tightly; she didn't have the courage to see her leave again.
"...I want to." Sol said, and Celine looked at her in surprise. Sol extended her hand to Celine. She sniffed and wiped her nose on her coat sleeve before accepting the help.
"Stop being such a cry baby" Sol says kidding
"Look who's taking" Celine replies, again they laugh

I hurt my own feelings reading agnst and I don't have the time to process them. Now I can't read shit
Rumi doesn't need gwi-ma to remember her of her shame, she have Celine.
I was thinking about something: Celine and her mentor having a conversation a few years after Mi-yeong's death. They're standing in front of her grave; Celine didn't know her mentor would be there, hadn't heard from her in years, and she just suddenly appears only to say that Celine was the worst leader of all time. She let a demon get close, killed one of her bandmates (I saw a post saying she accidentally killed Mi-yeong, and I loved the idea), pushed away the other (HC), and now she's raising a demon.
After her mentor threw all that in her face, she goes back to Rumi, whom she asked to wait in the car. She's only eight years old.
"Celine, are you okay?" Rumi asked.
"Yes, of course, Sweetheart" Celine replied, wiping away a tear that ran down her cheek.
Rumi remained silent, unsure if she should speak. She was never sure if she could speak when Celine was more emotional than usual. Then Celine said:
"Rumi, how about we go eat at that place you liked? We can eat a lot, what do you think?"
Rumi perked up, but stopped immediately.
"But you said I shouldn't, that I had to follow the diet you made for me."
"Forget about that, bunny," said Celine, a little annoyed; that's how her mentor had raised her. "We don't need to do that anymore, okay?"
"Really?!" Rumi perked up again, and at that moment Celine realized how much that little girl hated the rules Celine imposed.
"Really," she said with a small smile on her face. She fell silent again, thinking about what she was going to say, looked at Rumi through the rearview mirror and then finally spoke: "Listen, girl, if the day ever comes when I turn against you or do something that really hurts you in some way, you are allowed to teach me a lesson, okay?"
"Are you going to turn against me?" Rumi asks, a little confused and a little scared.
"No! Of course not, I just... I would never do that, but... I would never do that, bunny. Don't worry, forget about it."
"Okay."
She looks once more at that little girl, her little girl, looks over her arm and frowns at the small pattern there, appearing from under the sleeve of her shirt.
"Rumi."
"Mm?"
"I love you."
The girl smiles; she has the same smile as Miyeong.
"I love you too, Celine." Rumi says, and then. "Can I hit you with the newspaper when I teach you that lesson?"
Celine chuckled "yes you can sweety."
"You always hit me you a newspaper" rumi pouts cutely crossing her arms.
"Yeah, hope this day never comes for me" she jokes still smiling at the little girls pout.

And I think this after listening to "My goodbye" from epic the musical in loop for twenty minutes.
(sorry for the bad english)
I was thinking (again, i do it a lot) and.
You know there is some fans that says how much the song of some artist they like saved their lives.
Then imagine this with the huntrix, like
Fans: omg I love you so much, your songs saved my life.
Rumi: Thank You! Im so glad we could do that for You, you save our lives just as much!
Zoey and Mira minds: you dont even imagine how
So, there is this Brazilian song called "Anjos" by venere vai venus, and one part of it says.
"I never kissed you
But I always dreamed with this love
I feel like the angels
Flying and wishing
your love"
And It remind me of Celine and Miyeong.
IM OBSESSED WITH THIS DOOMED YURI

hyperfixation please stay with me long enough to complete the project. hyperfixation do not fade. hyperfixation finish what you started for the love of god
I've been thinking a lot of kpdh, specially in Celine 'cus I love a controversial woman character.
So I think "well she feels the honmoon" and this end up in the following scenario.
Celine is her office doing stuff when suddenly honmoon lights up, them she stops everything she is doing and in a hury she try to finds the most close way to go beat those demons. Then she stops in mid of jumping through the window and remembers, she isn't the hunter anymore, Rumi and her bandmates are.
She goes back to her chair like nothing happened, a few minutes late she text Rumi asking If she's good.
I have BDE. Bisexual disaster energy.
