Blue Flower

I went out for a walk

and saw a flower, blue.

I wished that it would talk,

but it was sad and drooped.

Then, rain started to stream,

And on the flower dripped,

The blue turned into green,

as the flower sipped.

As I stood and looked

that poor flower cried,

with its spine all crooked,

And I felt my pain subside.

The sun came out,

And I continued on my own,

Cause sometimes it’s nice to know,

That together we’re alone.
