Back in 2023 i thought the “hoeratio/whoratio” joke was really funny so I literally created a whole other variant of Horatio and i named him hoeratio and essentially he was just a sluttier version of Horatio. Horatio did NOT like him. Cannot say the same for Hamlet

starting an elsinore playthrough finally (a timeloop game based on hamlet where you play as ophelia and get visions of the future that you have to try to stop), and it's amazing how you can know the story and still feel totally bewildered by events. you only have time for a few conversations per day, so you're just standing around and run into hamlet, who's like, "i'm doing DARK DEEDS," and you're like "what?" and then you turn around and everyone's dead and you're like "WHAT?"

the oedipus complex is such an unnecessary element to add into hamlet. like it’s okay. i promise his relationship with his parents is already horrible

my secret Elsinore headcanon is that Polonius knew Quince from being in the same troupe in college and Quince actually feels a little guilty about subjecting Polonius to Everything. that's why Quince has so much fascination with Ophelia and also does not require Ophelia to kill Polonius for that one ending. but what would I know
