People march and do demonstrations to protest and while that’s still fine and good, it doesn’t make a difference as fast as we want it to. We need to protest better. And in order to do that we need to adapt with the times.

Let’s all send an email to walmart, the biggest chain store in the world, to change their plastic bags to hemp paper bags.

Hemp is easier to harvest than trees, it grows faster and takes up less space but more importantly it’s biodegradable. It‘s the best crop in the world to breathe in CO2 and the best option to replacing plastic and other one-use materials.

I’ve said time and time again that hemp paper is better than tree paper because it grows faster, is more durable, takes up less land to grow, and takes less time to manufacture. Paper is biodegradable, easily recyclable, and easy on the eyes. We already know that plastic bags pollute the environment and are just general eyesores. Well, paper bags are obviously the solution to gross plastic bags. But not just ANY paper bags! Hemp paper bags.

How to make the future bright? Package it in a better light. Plastic is the one encasement we have to avoid at all costs. And how do we do this?

I propose glass in all honesty

Glass doesn’t have the environmental impacts other materials do, it’s easily recyclable and can be recycled over and over again without limitation unlike other recyclables.

If we could remove plastic bottles and replace them with glass, that alone would have immense positive impact.

Additionally, hemp, which could replace tree paper. Hemp can be grown at a faster rate with more sustainability because it requires less acreage, less wait time to grow, and less manpower to produce and manufacture into paper in the first place. Hemp could replace cardboard and other forms of paper, we could use hemp paper to package candy bars, cereal boxes, actual boxes, milk cartons, bags, books, plastic bags, etc.

we could do so much with just these small, minimal changes to the way we manufacture our products.

Do you want to be young forever? Of course you do. Growing old is an experience that many of those in life can’t skip, can’t avoid- that is, unless our lives end early. Old age shouldn’t be looked down on the way it is now. It is a success to grow old. By growing old you’ve shown impressive self management and survival skills in all honesty. Unfortunately the side effects of growing old - like complications with our health, deteriating minds and bodies - make growing old a burden rather than the boost it should be.

In this day and age, more is possible to us than it was to previous generations. As science progresses and great minds think alike over time, the world has written more goals in the cards for us. One of those goals is figuring out how to stay young forever... or longer than we can now.

tissue regeneration, reversing aging in animals by adding new DNA instructions to their bodies, stem cell research for tissue and organ rejuvenation, lymph nodes regrowing functioning organs in a patient’s body, developing small molecules to extend life spans, delaying the onset or preventing Alzheimers, Parkinsons disease, cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, and other human-related diseases—THIS AND MORE, is being done to change the world, change OUR LIVES.

of course, none of this will matter if we can’t get our planet in order. We have to ensure the long and healthy life of our planet first, and don’t you forget it.

I learned about these a while back. These orbs are called Ooho and the container is made out of notpla, which is a plastic of seaweed and plants. Yes you can actually eat it whole. 

My main problem with this packaging is that it is frankly... not very smart. Those orbs are going to get dirty. You can bet your life they’ll fall on the ground and roll on the floor. Then they’ll just get thrown away. 

The point of “packaging” is for something to get dirty so that something else doesn’t have to. Which means people shouldn’t eat it. 

BUT animals should definitely be able to eat it, so I see the appeal. But it doesn’t change the fact that this packaging idea is seriously going to cause more harm than good. Like I said the orbs will just roll around and get lost. 

It’s been a while. I’ve taken some time to reevaluate my goals. Now I’m back with more wishful thinking. I’ve realized that being passionate about something doesn’t necessarily mean you love it steadfastly, it simply means that you work on it steadfastly. Love is work. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m passionate about this blog.

One of my favorite posts is one where I’m imagining a better future in which “trash cans” are “teleporters”. 2020 is trash but I hope that it will teleport us to better days. 

I’m still going to be writing about climate change, but I want to write about antiaging and governmental issues as well. I want to continue working. I want to be passionate about something in my life. For all those who stay with me, thank you.

but when it comes to healthcare, housing, schools? “Where’s the money?” they say.

I’ll tell you where the money is. It’s in the hands of the bandits who are billionares, the hands of the few. That’s where it is. And it doesn’t belong there. We know where it is. They’re the people that fund the wars in the first place.

Billionares, they just like killing people, they don’t like living people.

when I was considered “too young” I would get treated badly for saying big words, expressing my opinions, or being calm in the face of someone who looked down on me for just my age

when I was considered “too old” I would get treated badly for just... existing... just for the simple illegalness of living that long I guess.

and lemme tell ya after experiencing it I swore to myself I would never judge a person based on their age, only by their actions.

Because there is Nothing worse than feeling excluded like that.

And I understand that there has to be safe spaces in place for both young people and old people—that boundary should never be crossed.

But no matter how old or how young you are, everybody has worth.
