Ima Bakes

Note: I like putting ingredients in the order I add them into the bowl.

Preheat oven to 350F

In a large bowl mix:

1 shredded carrot (not necessary, but I like to add vegetables in things where I can)

1/2 cup nut butter of your choice (if you use sunflower butter, the cookies turn green on the inside- but still taste good)

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs (I like using egg whites in a carton.)

1 teaspoon maple flavor or baking flavor of your choice

1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup rolled oats

3 cups whole wheat flour

You may need to add 2-3 tablespoons of water to make the dough stick together better.

Press heaping tablespoons of batter together.

Place on a greased baking sheet about an inch apart and slightly flatten with a fork.

Bake for 8-10 minutes
