Kevin Holland devolving into a big swanging power puncher at 170lbs is kind of hilarious. Makes for amazing fights though.

Wonderboy in full control as Holland is refusing to grapple, has seemingly hurt his right hand, and eating right and left straights left and right. Plus he’s eating a lot of kicks. Not always flush but that shit still hurt.

Bro wonderboy is masterful with his kicks. He was angling his foot to reach around the guard. Highest level I’ve ever seen in the ufc.

One of the things I think people missed about the first two fights between Izzy and Pereira is that Izzy won like 75% of the time they were in the ring together. Izzy actually had Pereira hurt bad. We know Izzy can hurt Pereira. And it seems like he’s got his finger on the trigger tonight. Cracked him hard at the end of the 1st.

Big recovery for Pereira here in the 2nd. Landing more with the jab. Dictating pace. Izzy landed a huge 1-2 but Pereira got right back on the front foot. Closes the round with a takedown. Probably his round. Izzy smarty using the clinch to turn Pereira and rest but is not taking advantage. Not really landing on breaks and is allowing Pereira to work. Doesn’t need to be trying for the takedown there.

Pereira tries to go for a really bad trip takedown and Izzy ends up on top. Huge 3rd round for Izzy as he rides out Pereira for like 3-4 minutes. Pereira spent a solid two minutes with Izzy riding his back as he attempted to stand. Man is visibly tired now after all that grappling. We’ll see how this effects Izzy too.

3-1 Izzy. In control heading into 5. Pereira breathing deep while Izzy looks fresh. Izzy isn’t pressing but he’s clinching up whenever Pereira does dig deep to move forward.

Yea that’s how I had it 3-1 Izzy going into the 5th. But got damn if that wrestling wasn’t absolutely atrocious. I know we shouldnt expect much but damn. Haha they should bring Yoel back just for pereira. 2 absolute tanks, we might finally get to see Yoel put on a wrestling clinic. But I digress 😂

@theanticool called it right. At some point Anderson just stops working and waits for fighters to come to him. Our boy got dropped in the 8th. Anderson held his own but Jake looked fresher, more athletic, more powerful and just crisper overall. I’m done watching these gimmicks, call me when jake fights canelo or bivol maybe idk, I really don’t know shit about boxing lol
