That’s not a good comparison. You’re comparing skintones on a 3D model, which has much different lighting conditions, to a 2D illustration.

Like yeah, if you colour pick a darker shade from a 3D model,it looks a lot more drastic than if you compare this artwork to Nessa’s official 2D artwork.

Yes, the fanart is still noticeably lighter, but the difference between the two is way less drastic than the comparison that you illustrated using the 3D model.

And even still, it’s not just Nessa’s skin colour that’s lighter here, it’s the entire colour pallet. If you’re using a lighter colour pallet, you need to remain consistent with it, or else it won’t look right.

That’s how colour pallets work.
