This is merely a fan blog for the character known as Kaj Kai from the RAGEQUIT manga written by Freja Oldrup and Lonionjon. This blog is solely for fun and to express appreciation for RAGEQUIT and particularly the character Kai. If Rage Quit is a Boy's Love Manga that features two characters almost bordering exaggerated depictions of teenage boys in the 2020s/modern day, and points out the effects of toxic masculinity, misogyny, and homophobia on queer teenage boys (but I'd like to personally argue for all teenage boys who do not conform to the expectations of what toxic masculinity may expect from them).

Our main characters, Kaj and Lukas, two characters who seem to be absolute opposites aside from the fact they both try to conform to expectations that do not have any room for them and suffer from insecurity due to that, point those effects out in their character.

Here's what I would like to propose:

If Kaj's experience with toxic masculinity is what prevents him from expressing himself as an individual and affects his relationship with himself,

WALK WITH ME HERE.

Then to contrast that, Lukas' experience with the same thing especially points out how toxic masculinity affects his relationship with other people and especially how he expresses himself within those relationships.

I just want to throw that out there, I don't have a lot of evidence to support this aside from the very little we see of his interactions with Robin. I also believe that Kai & Lukas' experiences/issues overlap to an extent due to the fact they have the same cause, especially because they're both regarding self expression.
