I was never a Hello Kitty girl growing up, she was everything I was not and I didn't understand the hype until I started pkaying Hello Kitty Island Adventures and noticed how relatable her expression is, blank yet full of emotion. I'm autistic and when I'm not masking, that's how I look like and Hello Kitty is always like that, idk she feels so safe that I admit... I love her now, a lot :)

When Dear Daniel becomes a resident in the island, I find it very endearing how he's always by the cafe waiting for Hello Kitty 🥹

Scan is from station17.cebu on Archive.org. All I did was try to straighten the panels out and color correct it (since the scan was quite dark).
