Introducing Rocky!
Finally got round to making a Rocky plush! He was originally a lot more angular but my dumbass wanted him to be *hefty* so I stuffed him full of baking beads and he lost all definition...and the ability to stand π
Oh well, small price to pay for a palm-sized boulder friend <3
(Pre "attempting to make this thing weigh a quarter ton" for reference β)

It's a wonderful pattern, highly recommend! Although I will say I improvised the claws and random, decorative patches, as well as adding extra beads between the joints because I liked the look :)

Also known as a chair I spent a month painting & crocheting for so I could claim it was "Iron Lung themed" lmao
It has all your favourites! Weird wavy blood patterns! Bones! Teeth! And the best girl herself: Elli the blood eel, now in weighted blanket form <3
(Also a couple clearer pics of the chair back & crochet if anyone's interested)
Sorry for the weird lighting, it's real late but I finally finished my Iron Lung Elli tapestry after a month and got too excited!!! I haven't even weaved in the ends yet lmao
This isn't even the finished project, I'm just so relieved the crochet bit is finally done π

Iβm still waiting for mine to arrive but now Iβm fucking panicking because I only wear red, black, and white.
@acephoric Hi there! Yeah, I washed it for the first time and it immediately turned pink. For some reason I really struggled to capture it on camera, but the whole shirt's now a splotchy pale pink, sort of like tye-dye?
This was the best picture I could get (sorry!), and a Pantone swatch card to give a better idea of the actual colour.
For reference, I washed it at 30 degrees, a standard 'cold' wash (and I believe what was recommended on the shirt tag?) and then air-dried. Thankfully the dye didn't affect anything else in the wash (which was also all pink, just in case π )
The only thing I can suggest is to maybe hand wash it first in cold water instead, and see if that takes out the excess red dye? I'm really not sure though, I'm sorry I can't be more help! Fingers crossed someone figures it out before your shirt arrives!

Decided to try my hand at appliquΓ© and made a hoodie with Elli from Iron Lung! Things I learned from the experience:
1) She's an absolute cutie in any medium π
2) AppliquΓ© is fiddly as all hell π

Hey. Just popping in to say although I've been inactive for a few months (long story - health issues) I want to make my support of Palestine and condemnation of the IDF very clear. This is essentially my art portfolio, so I don't really reblog things here unless I'm tagged in them/it's an ask I sent I want to archive, hence why there's no posts addressing the situation before now - I have other blogs I reblog things on instead. That said, I don't want the emptiness of this blog to look like I'm ignoring the situation or apathetic to it. My resources are currently very limited but I'm doing what I can in other places, just not this specific blog π΅πΈπ€

Working on a new pair of patch pants! This time experimenting with bleach patches rather than painted ones π
