~ Summary

Just like tears, a restraining order will run out as well. However..What if the one who filed it realized their mistake? What if the one who it was filed against was living happier now but still ever so longing for the other?

~ Prologue

It could take days, weeks, months, or years but glue will come off eventually and with that, the papers as well. As much as Madeleine may be denying his still throbbing love, he had to accept it. That said, no rule ever stated he couldn’t find a new love, though not romantic but family like. Custard was needing a father and Madeleine was willing.

So now here they stand, son and father, ordering at the bakery until a familiar raven haired cookie trots his was in, Madeleine didn’t fail to notice the intense smell of coffee however.

~ Summary 

Espresso’s words were like paper having been written on and he had used glue made from poison to glue it it to Madeleine.

All Madeleine wanted to do was help but sometimes help can cross the line of what’s right and wrong.

~Prologue

You know how paper sticks to glue? You also probably know how you can write stuff to that paper. You can write some vile stuff on paper and this is how it was to Madeleine. Always protecting and caring for Espresso when he needed to. Yet Espresso would only his mouth to say hurtful connected words.

‘I did not need help from such an annoyance’

'I’M FINE! You are not my mother nor any type of family or important to me in any way.’

Madeleine may wear armor to protect himself, all that armor becomes all but a basic sheet when compared to Espresso’s words. He’d never shown it on the outside but those butterflies in his stomach would turn into butterfly knives when he ever heard those words.

He’d think. No cookie understood as all they saw was a man who was spiteful and a man who didn’t seem to let it hit him. But those papers would glue so well to him.

He’s since been open about the emotional difficulty of having written the song since many people now message him on October 1st to ‘wake him up’ despite the song being a memorial to his departed father.
