He was breaking her heart in a way that she had not expected. "I wish we had more time." She laughed a little through her tears, finally being able to repeat the last words he'd ever spoken to her- until now. She never thought she'd get the chance to respond. Now was her chance, now, this moment that had come on so suddenly and certainly, the most unexpected occurrence that had ever happened to her. Gods, she was so lucky, and she knew it. "We have another chance now...." At least, she hoped. For all she knew she'd wake up from this dream at any moment, or whatever glitch in the universe that was allowing Steve to stand before her, a flesh and blood corporeal being, would suddenly right itself. That he'd vanish, dissipating into particles before her very eyes. However long they had, she wasn't about to squander it. And then he was kissing her. It felt like yesterday, and also lifetimes ago, that she'd felt that rush. That relief. That comfort. That excitement. And then she was laughing again. She couldn't contain her joy, not even a little bit. She was as giddy as a child. "Let's go back to my place." Diana took his hand firmly in hers, hoping she never had to let it go. "I can tell you everything you've missed."
