sadie wasn’t truly thinking about it, of course she’s wondered about having another, but she is SERIOUS about not having another until there is a ring on her finger. she loves the baby snuggles from hadley but she also loves how it is right now with just wyatt

no she lovesssss getting to hold her. but she knows that she has to be very gentle and she can’t touch or hold the baby if there’s not an adult there to help her. she has to be very gentle with the baby because the baby isn’t as strong as her and can get hurt very easy. and riley is a very good listener, so she takes that as she needs to watch the baby and make sure she’s okay.

jamie explains that the baby has her own bed and sleeps in their room just because she cries a lot during the night and she needs to be fed or have her diaper changed. but riley is a big girl and she doesn’t wake up in the middle of the night so she gets to sleep in her own room. but if she sleeps in their room, the baby will wake her up too. riley makes a face and shakes her head at that. she doesn’t want that baby waking her up

every crumb of that god awful video needs to erased from the face of the earth i don’t care if he was talking about supporting a good cause that is the one time that man has not looked good

grace knows riley is tired and she’s tired too, she just wants everyone to nap at the same time for a bit. she gives up and lets riley lay on the floor and watch her and grace grabs a blanket and lays on the couch. riley is knocked out ten minutes later and grace is out five minutes after that. jamie comes in from where he was cleaning up lunch and figuring out dinner and finds all three of his girls asleep in the living room and he wishes he could make himself comfortable on the couch without waking grace up so he could join. instead, he finds a spot on the floor near riley and wakes up later with her on his chest.

anything is better than whatever he had going on

she’ll be sleeping in her chair or swing and riley is just sitting there staring at her. grace will laugh and ask what she’s doing and she’s like “mommy i watch the baby.”

they’re doing good, been home for about a week now and the whole family is tired but riley is absolutely fascinated

uhm i moved back home and then i went to the lake and im looking for jobs and decided to get another degree

oh my god i missed baby day
