Honestly I think Americans, specially highly insecure millennials and gen Z-ers, are literally so terrified of ever “being a bad person” and so like fastidiously obsessed with personal morality in absolutely fucking everything that they ever do (even fucking media consumption, Jesus) that there’s a lot of appeal to creating an internet politics that consists basically of “use your marginalized identity to declare yourself above ethical judgement, this way you get to be a good person 100% of the time and never experience your weird guilt complex ever again”

(smoking a cigarette) the average american is afraid of what is new and what is foreign, and especially of what is adult. they are trapped forever in daycares of their own design, reading books and watching shows made for children. And while there are interesting things made for children, by and large, they tend to stick to inoffensive, intensely juvenile things that won't challenge them much. And worst of all, if you suggest to your Average American that they should try to step outside of their narrow box, especially if they're trying to become artists, animators, film makers, novelists, etc, everyone acts as if you've just bombed the daycare. Wow.

I saw this when running newpipe. But wait, it gets deeper. I clicked on the details buttons and it said as of today, we have 83 days left until Google rolls out this new requirement for apps inside and outside of the google play store. If any developer disagrees with their new terms and fees, they will be blocked!

I'll share some of the info below:

Looks like they're trying to nuke the remaining privacy and freedoms we have left on the internet.

What to do?

-Get your developer friends to not comply to their new guides

- Sign the open letter on the site and take action by checking out the full resources list on their website as well!

To summarize, this is all daunting especially when you feel all alone with unfair and inhumane regulations comming out faster than improvements but we got this working together!

I got incredibly inspired by this TV Time x Big Shot mashup + a couple of other things that were smashing Big Shot's vocals with TV Time and tried my hand at making some sprites of Spamton if he never picked up that phone and stayed a co-host of the show!

Honestly think it would be so cool in this partial AU of sorts(?) if he had a separate earlier on boss fight from Tenna, only to have a dual boss fight perched on Tenna's shoulder later on.
