3 random facts: “Well, I’ve been working in a circus show since I was a kid. My parents have been friends with the ringmaster for a long time; they’re acrobatics with the show. I’ve been dubbed "The Fire Dancer” by my boss, so that’s what everyone knows me as more rather than my name. “ 

"While technically they’re owned by the circus show, two of the lions we have are like my own pets as I’ve helped raised them since they were cubs and we’ve really bonded. Their names are Pax and Nova, a male and a female; sometimes they’re a part of my act but mostly they turn up with my older brother Denver, who is the actual lion tamer in the show.”

“Oh, I can tell you the funny thing about my name! My parents though they were clever and humorously different by giving myself and my siblings names of the cities and states we were born in - being that they traveled a lot, us three kids were all born in different places; for example, my full name is Phoenix Arizona Maine. My brother, of course, is Denver Colorado Maine, though he just likes to be called "Den”. Power(s): Fire Abilities: "Ever since I can remember, I’ve been able to create fire - out of thin air! - and control it at will. I don’t quite remember how or when it happened, though I do remember one time my brother set a pan of bacon he was cooking on fire and I just waved my hand and it went out just like that. Anyways, I can manipulate any flame, whether I create it or it’s already lit, any way I want - which is why I use it to create pyrotechnic effects while I dance in my circus acts. The audience really seems to enjoy when I mold my flames into different shapes like animals and such. Uhm…I guess this is an ability too: I can withstand the cold, almost up to extreme weather conditions, as I can raise my own body temperature without it being dangerous to my own health. I don’t like to, however, mostly because I don’t like the cold so I tend to stay away from those kind of weather conditions - unless I have no choice.”

I am capable of keeping up with the times. Yes, this includes me drinking wine while bitching about exes while blasting Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble,” which I do far more often than I should. Also, I know a good few karaoke places nearby where the Meet & Greet is… Also, I know the modern vernacular. I’m trying to stay relevant, DAMMIT! 

I started getting into poisons at a young age and I’ve done plenty of research. I have a gigantic collection of poisons that I use. If you need advice on brewing new poisons, feel free to ask me. Don’t worry, I won’t bring any poisons into the coven meeting room, but I’ll definitely have any healing potions just in case any accidents happen or someone just happens to be injured. Also, I’ll have (untainted and NOT poisoned) wine to bring on occasion.

I have an ex named Naoto and a son named Nobutsuna. If I am exceptionally bitter one day, it’s probably because of one of or both of them. I’ll try to keep bitching about them to a minimum during meetings, but no guarantees. Good news: The ex is no longer trying to kill me. Bad news: We’re still kind of awkward with each other and trying to get to the point of being friends, so try not to bring him up unless I’ve already done so.

SHAPESHIFTING—Azami can use magic and/or potions to change herself from an older to a youthful form. She’ll probably be present in her youthful form for most meetings as she wants to look somewhat welcoming, appealing, and friendly as opposed to her default older form. However, there will be times when she does stay in her default older form, though that probably won’t happen as much until she warms up to the other coven members.

POTIONS—usually used for poisoning, but she has several non-lethal types of potions she’s brewed as well. She has much experience, as noted in the three random facts section (specifically fact number 2).

I love expressing my creativity. I do this through decorating, but especially through baking and music (and constructing cardboard pirate ships and blanket forts, and I hope you don’t mind those on occasion). More on those two below:

I love food. I do a lot of baking ,and I’m going to be bringing my baked goods to the coven. If anyone has food allergies, let me know! Also, if you have any requests for specific foods, let me know as well and I’ll try to make them to the best of my ability! I hope you don’t mind me summoning a kitchen in the coven room on occasion!

I LOVE MUSIC!!!! I also love dancing, and musical numbers and all that jazz. If anyone’s a music geek, let me know—I would love to play some music with you~! I sing, play piano, and I’ve dabbled in a tiny bit of flute and violin (though not to the same extent as my dads, Arlyn and Nuriel). 

power(s): Using music to summon things/move things/make things happen. I’m still working on it, and I apologize in advance for any property damage. Much constructive critique would be helpful! I’ve also been trying to see if I can use my music magic to enhance my baking and give my food magical, helpful effects towards people that will be good for their health or wellbeing in general.

I’m a bit of a dollmaker, see. I make all kinds of dolls, but I take a huge amount of pride in life-sized dolls. So…I have a giant collection of them as a result. Yeah. Don’t worry, I won’t bring them in if you’re uncomfy, but if I ever come in looking like I went on an all night bender, it’s probably because I worked a bit too much on making a new doll the night before.

I’m friends with Azami. I know it sounds weird, but it’s true. We met when we were both sneaking around in the forbidden section of a library, joined forces, and the rest is history. How am I still alive, given her liking towards poisons? I have no freaking clue. 

I can cook! I’m more of a savoury-food-cooking person as opposed to sweets, but maybe I’ll bring some snacks over every once in a while. I realize I haven’t done so much yet, but I promise *SOON.* I’ll be the savoury chef to Tahirah’s baker! XD

DOLL MANIPULATION—Maximilian is capable of making the inanimate, well, animate. This especially includes all the life-sized dolls he creates. Meaning that he can basically make a doll army at will. Be careful.

However, after the age of 20 (when my pyrokinesis presented) I spent many years being considered unteachable and was nearly sent between the trees. “I have a wicked sense of humor, and a horrific temper. I may seem superficial, and to most a wanderer and a player. To those who know me best, they know that I am intense, temperamental and extremely loyal. I love a good time, and if it gets physical, all the better. Adrenaline junkie!"

I’m the daughter of Miko Nicharos, leader of a wide-spread crime syndicate. I’m not above breaking the law to help others, and has been trained to be her father’s successor. I’m pretty good at street fighting, knives and guns, as well as cyberhacking.  I’m not too bad at blackmail, either.“

” I’m pretty religious (Greek Orthodox).  I light candles for my mother daily, I will travel to Greece twice yearly to go to my girlhood chapel and give confession to the priest there, and I give generously to the poor.“

any previous training of magic? I am a Healer, so yes, I have had many years of extensive training under my belt, so to speak. 

3 random facts:  Fact one: Technically speaking, I am a princess. My official title is Princess of Eyllisathem. I am second in line to the throne, for it is my twin sister Saeren that currently sits upon the throne. We also have a brother, who is the Prince of Eyllisathem. 

Fact Two:   I am co-owner of the Olde Crow Cafe & Tavern with my brother Dominic. We opened it so that witches and other magical folk would have a safe place to come to without fear of mortals or hunters. 

Fact Three:  Taking after my mother, I love to garden. I am quite the herbologist, I suppose you could say. I tend to the Gardens at the Palace which once belonged to the late queen, my mother. Of course, I also tend to the flowers and shrubbery that is both inside and outside of the Olde Crow.

Telepathy ; The rumor that dragons are telepathic is quite true, though the rumor was not started by their own kind. Dragons will neither deny nor confirm if they are. Perhaps you simply have to befriend a dragon to find out.

Heightened Senses ; Because of her dragon nature, all of Sabine’s senses are heightened. She is also very empathetic and can sense when another is upset about something.

Delayed Aging and Accelerated Healing ; Also because of her dragon nature, Sabine ages slower than the average human. She is also immune to all human diseases but not to those that attack dragon-kind. She can heal quickly too, but excessive damage to her body does take several days to weeks of healing depending on the amount of damage and blood loss.

Dragon Form ; Most of the time, Sabine appears human - or as close to. When she is not glamouring her appearance, her ears are pointed with white scales along the edge of her ears and down the sides of her neck. Her eyes also appear more reptilian than human. When she is agitated or aroused, her scales and claws will push out through her flesh and nails. She also has a dragon form, which is smaller than that of her twins or baby brother’s.

Animal Speak ; Sabine can communicate with many forest animals and reptiles.

Ice Manipulation ; Being a white dragon, Sabine can create and control frost and ice. Much like her twin, when she gets upset, the temperature in the room drops. She can also turn water into ice and shatter it.

Healing ; Sabine is a Healer, and therefore she is able to heal others through the use of magic and herb knowledge.

hours of availability (in-character): Out of the three of us royals, I am probably the most available. I spend a lot of my time in the mortal world, and can almost always be found at the Olde Crow during regular business hours. Of course, if I am not there, usually my brother is.

any previous training of magic? Like my sisters, I have had training in magic, though I am power of a brute strength sort of fighter and defender than I am magically inclined. Regardless, it was part of my education growing up. 

3 random facts:  Fact one: I am the youngest in my family, as my sisters are five hundred years older than me; regardless, it is my duty as the prince and the brother to ensure my sisters are well cared for at all times. I am also probably the only one who can get away with manhandling the queen or the princess when the moment calls for it. It’s a rare occurrence, but it has happened in times past. 

Fact Two:   I am co-owner of the Olde Crow Cafe & Tavern with one of my sisters, Sabine. We opened it so that witches and other magical folk would have a safe place to come to without fear of mortals or hunters. Sabine spends more time there than I do, but when I am there, I am usually tending to the bar. 

Fact Three:  My best friends are two demi-gods and a werewolf. It’s a strange grouping, but they are always there when I need them. We trained together when we were younger, fought together in the War, and they help me run my tavern from time to time.

Much like his sisters, there is some speculation that Dominic is telepathic. Whether or not he is depends on your relationship with the dragon…

Being a dragon, Dominic has heightened senses, delayed aging, and accelerated healing. He is immune to all human-diseases, but not those that affect dragons. He also has a dragon form which is a fearsome sight to behold. He is bigger in stature than both of his sisters, but when it comes to their dragon forms, the eldest of the three siblings dwarfs even Dominic.  Being an earth dragon, Dominic has control of the earth element and all that it entails. His specialty is causing large chunks of earth to rise from the ground where he can hurl them at the enemy. When he is in his dragon form, his tail is designed in such a way that he can drive his spikes into the earth and catapult large chunks at castle and fortress walls. Dominic is also built like a brick wall. He’s large and muscular, and it shows in the strain of any shirt he wears. He’s intimidating to behold and it’s because of his brute strength. He’s well trained in hand to hand combat and can wield all sorts of swords and broadswords. 

hours of availability (in-character): I am not as readily available as Sabine, but I am around more often that Saeren is. My duty is to my queen first and foremost, but I will always make time for any witch, wizard, or warlock who asks.

power(s):  pyrokinesis - Isabelle discovered her ability to conjure and control fire  around her tenth birthday. Her mother nearly had a heart attack when her child retaliated to one of the neighbor boys pushing her by setting his playhouse on fire. It was one of the few times the demigoddess witnessed her mother perform magic in front of her so that the neighbor boy forgot everything and the playhouse didn’t even have scorch marks remaining on it. telekinesis - Around the time that Isabelle discovered she could conjure fire, she also was discovering other talents. A few weeks after having attempted to burn the neighbor kid’s playhouse to the ground, the brunette went into class to find that a substitute teacher was going to bore everyone to death with a documentary so to entertain herself (and others) she made things roll off the desk and messed with the TV to make it rewind and fast forward through the VHS tape. After the substitute teacher tried to turn off the TV and even unplugged it, Isabelle continued her tricks and scared the woman so much she ran out of the room screaming.  magic casting - Hours after her mother passed away, Isabelle discovered a number of tomes in their home and found even more of them in her grandparents’ library. She learned how to cast with some assistance from the tutor that was hired to teach her history and mathematics among other things. A decent number of spells she is capable of casting without speaking any incantations.

3 random facts:  My birth mother was a witch and my father was a normal mortal. He disappeared when I was younger and my mother died when I was eight. I bounced around foster homes for a while until I was ten. The family that adopted me was well associated with the Purefoys. 

I often like to take photographs and write for online magazines. I was in the high school newspaper so recording events is a big thing I enjoy. I have photographs on Instagram and a website that is basically a photo album, most of it being nature or candid shots. 

I’ve got a guilty pleasure for collecting stones and incense. I go into a shop for one thing and come out with a bag full of stuff that I won’t use for days, even weeks. I get distracted sometimes.

power(s):  Healing/Revival - I noticed my gift to heal when I was thirteen. I was at home with one of my siblings when she fell down the stairs and split open her knee. She’s a couple years younger than me but she knew she shouldn’t have been playing on the stairs so I helped patch her up before mum and dad came home. We thought it would be noticeable but when they looked under the bandage they thought we had been playing doctor the whole time since it was perfectly healed, as if nothing had happened at all.

Enchantments - It sounds a little dorky, but when I was fifteen I took an interest in stones and witchcraft with more enthusiasm. I learned how to enchant objects, picked it up pretty quick too. Mostly do it for luck.

Any training of magic?

3 random facts:       

I grew up in England and moved to New York when I turned 16. Joined up with some people very similar to me but most of them have since died or moved elsewhere.  

I am a son of Hermes so naturally, like my cousins, I often carry some form of defense. Luckily I was blessed with the fact that a handful of gods were smitten with witches for whatever trendy reason so I’ve got a few talents.      

I’ve traveled some, seen things that are very interesting. Collected a fine amount of alcohols from where I’ve been.

power(s):

     Spell Casting - Discovered when I nicked my first spell book, found it quite interesting so I gave it a whirl. My first spell was one I see my cousin use all the time, a housework spell used to clean dishes. I worked my way up to the more complex ones. Still have plenty to learn and more books to read.

     Control of the Winds - I discovered that I’m capable of manipulating the air around me to take on whatever form or speed I like shortly after I turned nineteen when I got into a bar fight with some bloke outside of a club. Would’ve been helpful before then but I guess better late than never. 

     Enchantments and Brewing - I dabble a bit with enchantments, good luck charms and the like. Also make a mean sleeping draft to help those plagued with restless minds in the middle of the night.

hours of availability: Open for the most part. I pick up a few shifts at the pub every week but other than that, free as a bird.

any previous training of magic? “My family surname is a Voclain - the second half of the powerful Vernet-Voclain family line of witches and warlocks. From the time I was able to walk and talk, my abilities in magic were under scrutiny. For the first century, like all others born into the Vernet-Voclain family lines, ( was subjected to intense education and practice to find, then master my gifts.”

3 random facts:

“I adore old things! Call them vintage, antique, whatever you want - the older something is, the more I appreciate it. Things that are older, in my opinion, are better-crafted, have more emotion to them, and have a history that soaks into the skin.”

“It is rare, but I can lose my temper. When I do, it was a long time coming. I will go quiet, and when I can no longer control my emotions I either let them loose like a storm or isolate myself til I am in control once again.”

“I am rather masterful in older languages, both in reading and writing.  I am also extremely gifted in illuminations, palimpsest, making shifting text stay still. Words are a fascination of mine, although I am not the most talkative of people. Words hold power, have magic all their own, whether in the writing or the speaking of them.”

3 random facts: 

I am currently the only child between Maleficent and the entity known as Chaos. I was raised in Tuscany, Italy when I was young and on my 16th birthday my mother had me shipped off to New York with one of the women who used to watch me as a child so that I would stay out of her hair for whatever reason. She writes but I’ve hardly seen her since moving out here.

Growing up, I had no “normal” pets. I had two corn snakes and a ball python. The two corn snakes were named Scarlet and Sage. The ball python was named Tigger. They were allowed to be loose in my room but not all three at the same time. They’d hunt mice and other pests in the castle.

My greatest ambition is to eventually return to Italy and take the throne after my mother has either passed or decides she doesn’t want it anymore. Long live the Queen. 

power(s):

Pyrokenesis - First discovered around the age of eight. A serving girl got snippy and a warning shot was sent off. Never had an attitude problem from her or any other servants since. Mother wasn’t impressed. She thought after I was five that I wasn’t going to develop any powers aside from what I could already do.

Transformation - Ability to turn into a dragon. Like mother and father, I’ve learned to change into a dragon. My first full transformation that was on purpose was around 13 or 14 years. When I was younger, not even five, it would happen randomly. 

Spell Casting - I’ve been known to peak at my mother’s collection of spells and with her knowledge but hardly any enthusiasm or encouragement I’ve attempted and succeeded in casting many. She’s not very impressed but father claims me to be a prodigy.

any previous training of magic? You could say I am skilled in the art of putting out fires, persuasive forgiveness, and escaping from danger that may or may not have been caused by myself.

3 random facts: [1 para each, detailed and not pertaining to powers] I can lick my elbow. Some humans people think that it’s impossible to do, but you can do it. You just have to do enough stretching in the morning and at night. Never start or end the day without doing a big stretch. Then you can be popular at parties by licking your elbow. I have a dog familiar. Some people have told me it is not a dog and that it is a bear. They even say it’s not actually a familiar and that I am being followed by an actual bear. But I think I would know my own familiar and it is most definitely a very large and hairy dog. It does not have a tail but some dogs don’t have tails. Like corgis. My corgi just happens to be big, black, and have a very large snout. Have you ever wondered about the secret to eating healthy? You put applesauce in everything. Your cake mix, applesauce. Your muffin mix, applesauce. I was told this was a fad but I really believe I have a better spring in my step since adding at least ten cups of applesauce to my daily intake. I usually average twenty. power(s): [can be explained in third person if the muse does not wish to disclose] My powers are, how would you say, still in development and thus I cannot disclose what my special skill is. (Pascal has no definite powers. He was kicked out of his family for failing every type of magic training they could try to put him through. In addition, my matriarch, my great-grandmother Mai, chose me at a young age to be her protege. Due to the strength of my powers and skills, they were pressed into the service of the entire extended family group/coven.”

Despite being born in a fishing town (Toulon, which is near the coast of southern France) I have a great affinity for forests, fresh water, and plants.  My cousin, despite being born more inland, is the one with the affinity for the ocean and its’ depths. 

power(s):Primarily healing of all sorts, including modern day medicine and surgery. Telepathic, telekinetic, able to affect weather, create brand new spells secondary, with limited abilities in darker magics. 

hours of availability (in-character): Most days and late into the evening, excepting Friday evening and Saturday during the day.
