Eva Stratt: Earth‘s Scapegoat

Project explanation: Zugzwang means (besides the meaning listed) that one HAS to make a move/desicion. Sündenbock is simply the german meaning of Scapegoat. I had to kind of estimate the placement of the Sahara desert, so it could be more precise. It and the Antarctic are both red symbolising the destruction caused by Stratt. (No hate towards her, I believe them to have been the correct decisions.) The rest is yellow because it reminds me of the sun and hope and I associate yellow strongly with Grace, because it often stands for both joy, optimism and sunshine as well as caution, deceit, and even cowardice across various contexts. Also you can’t really see it but the picture under the „you will never go home“ text is a world map and the text is covering the Netherlands (she’s Dutch in the book) and most of Germany (she’s mentioned having been in an eastern German youth choir in the film). The red lines on the side and around the world map are supposed to symbolise the Petrova Line.
