Woof.

There’s little that can rouse the gentle giant when he’s decided to lay claim to the floor. Lazily, warm hues drift up to Connor and he chuffs once, tail sweeping across the wooden floors as the android disappears into the poof of fur. His favourite spot. His favourite boy. There’s nothing that could make very moment better but somehow Connor manages. Out of all the words Connor just spoke Sumo only understands two but they are the most important words a dog could ever hear. Good boy. 

That, and attack.

Who in the world would even know? All Sumo knows for certain is that there’s a nice spot against the restroom door and that he’s definitely without a doubt asleep. There is no one (or two) pushing against the door. Or anyone asking him to roll over– which is, he’s laying down.

As always its the sound of treats shaking in bag that rouses Sumo from his stubborn fort on the kitchen floor to sit practical centimeters away from… Hank? Wait a minute. Didn’t he just see Hank no less than two seconds ago? He could’ve been sure it was Hank that just walked out the door and Sumo had even cleared out his schedule to wait for both twins to come back.

A head cants to the side and a wet nose wiggles. Beneath the telltale scent of treats teasingly close there’s something missing. There’s an obvious lack of the  heavy musk of Chicken Feed and even though colors blend and mesh on his shirt into monotone hues its far less chaotic. Frank.

Well met, good traveler, for thy efforts and stalwart grit have not gone in vain. The beast that hath terrified many with it’s bountiful pillaging now meets his match succumbing at last to our tiny hero’s brave bappeth. But woe, be wary and on guard for the Goliath only feigns slumber for even he cannot hide the fiendish turn of tail.

Cerb looked down into his hand and then to the dog sniffing the air between them. “You certainly like this don’t you?” He asked with a feign of pouting.

“All the act. Smart Sumo.” Cerb mutters to the dog as he scratches behind the ears of his friend. “Do you really want this ball now?” Ge asked with his brows knitting together.

Maw parts slightly and the old dog almost looks like he’s sporting a grin of his own. A sneeze before his head tilts innocently as Cerb speaks. It was a question worth wondering. Does he want the ball? He mulls over the question as he presses against Cerbs hand hind leg idly thumping.
