I don’t want to make this a huge... emotional thing or hang onto it for too much, and I am planning to move my Markus muse over to @emusecollective in a bit. There will be promo posts up for it when I do so, so you will definitely stay updated, but Connor and Kara will be deactivated.

Before I go, I want to thank everyone who has been roleplaying with my muses and I, and just do a little... shout-out thing for a few people in particular.

The soft glow reflecting against the interior facade had been calculated to produce a warming effect within most visitors of Wallace’s magnanimous compound. Ever the host of duty and hospitality, his poised creature Luv met inquiries with explanations as veiled and fleeting as the mysteries of her own biology. The voice of reason spawned after an uncertain time within the company; she led approaching guests away from their goal of getting closer to what it was that made them different. 

And just as the aura within the bare walls was made to settle a mind scrambled by the ataxia of man, city, and world, His other lovely creature had been made to offer a similar level of comfort. Where Luv’s service provided Wallace security within his corporation, Mae would give a satisfaction of the flesh. A luxury that outranked the newly released digital offerings of their joyless world. More ingrained than instinctual, the feeling that came when she heard the roughened and quieted voice at the file clerk’s counter urged her to move quickly towards the source. 

His stillness was recognizable. The innocent face bathed in the yellow light focused on its intended purpose, very much like hers was in the same moment. An inquiry would surely call for Luv’s accompaniment, but curiosity and the desire to hold this secret over Luv won in Mae’s silent contemplation. She approached the desk with a warm and rested smile, her eyes conveying the underlying curiosity that her words could not.

She had seen him come in off the street, listened to the hushed voices  as he made his way through the bar. It wasn’t that she could hear any of the conversation over the moaning cries of customers seeking out their carnal desires, but she had a solid hunch as to reason of his arrival.

Her gaze scanned the area around her before leaving her station outside. they didn’t want older models inside- too much of a liability.

She scanned again  before sliding into the back office and leaning against the door until she heard the mechanism click shut.

“We’ve met before,” she said with a half smile, holding both hands up. “It’s hard to make heads or tails of the system, huh?  Skewed organization, discretion measures...” Her elusive face shifted through smiles and somber expressions. “ But you aren’t here for the recycling either.” Not for the girls the customers would break, no some from the corporation came round for those. They were easily replaced.

Like! I doubt that even crossed David Cage’s mind? ( because I have little faith in his writing ) but this does make my heart flutter.
