Hiii!!

Thank you so much for this message. It honestly warms my heart so much that people get joy from my work. Especially with the times we're all living through right now.

It's hard to describe the extent of my grief. For months after I would randomly break down and cry when I thought of her. Sometimes a noise happened in the house that I knew she would have reacted to and the silence that followed was oppressive. Her empty cage was like a metaphor for my heart.

This week my soul feels alive again for the first time since that awful day. We adopted a sweet little tiel through the RSPCA.
