i really believe this. i think it's crucial to have people who not only are okay with the idea of fucking us, but actually desire it more than anything else.
As a non-op trans woman, I have a different body than any of the norms, and I wouldn't feel comfortable dating a cis person unless I know they knew what they're getting into and that they desire my body. I need that, it's not only a cherry on top, and that's what makes dating non-tgirls for me the hardest.
You know who's even worse than chasers ? non-chaser queers that will date anyone but trans women, and they never ask the question of whether it's moral or not. No for them it's very okay to not be attracted specifically to trans women, and they actually double down on it and share it publicly. "it's okay to not like trans women's bodies, and we even feel compelled to put it as a constant reminder publicly for every tgirl to see", they say. and they never question their transmisogyny, hell they do not even know the term.
we should make our standards higher, sure, but in a world where we're not desired, we'll lower our standards mechanically. Of course, there is the option of being exclusively transfem4transfem, but we're not a lot you know, and some of us want to love outside of our shared condition of transhood. We want to be women, loved by other women, to have bodies desirable to women, and I think being a chaser is even more radical. To prefer us to the majority. To seek us out. To stalk us.
I want lesbian trans women to be more desired, so I want more women to feel okay about desiring us.
