I recently realized that most of the daydreams I have revolve around a man (always a fictional one or a celebrity but nevertheless a man) and for someone who claims to not have their life centered around men thats pretty fucking embarrassing to admit and now idk how to fix this so I'm writing about it on tumblr. I've been an avid fanfiction reader for years now and even though I don't read them nearly as much as I did in middle school, I still make up scenarios and daydreams in my head like I'm sure most people on here do lmao
I like fanfiction and I like daydreaming but I see this trait of mine as a flaw. And it has never been something that had direct influence in my life, ( I still had normal long term relationships, I still have real life goals and connections with people, etc.) Despite that, I feel like a giant hypocrite for saying I don't perform for men and I don't spend my time worrying about what a man thinks of me when thats kind of what I'm doing in my imagination by daydreaming about being sought after by my favorite fictional character. Does anybody else have this dilemma or is it just me? Also if you have some advice to offer that would be appreciated TwT
