Please anything with UTA 🙏
Uta kinda exists in a weird place with me, because on one hand, I really like her, I like One Piece film red, and I like the vibe she has overall. On the other hand, I think it's really hard to form a real opinion on her since Oda doesn't really seem interested in exploring her in a canon sense. We know that she's canon to One Piece, and that it's Film Red that isn't necessarily canon, but I wish, if that was the case, that we could learn more about her in the actual story, if that makes sense. I totally understand that the current story just doesn't involve her, and that's okay, but I would like to see how Uta affects characters like Luffy and Shanks, why Uta has stopped traveling with Shanks, so on and so forth. It could just be as simple as "Uta has her own goals that no longer involve Shanks", but I would just like to see more of her outside a silhouette in a small panel. If that's the most she's ever going to be addressed, then I don't really see my interest in her growing.
What were your thoughts on Brook in the récent Chapters ?
I personally really like it! Further explanation below, beware of One Piece Manga spoilers:
---
I think the majority of your forgotten twst au got deleted.
Yeah don't worry that was me. I knew I was going to get this ask eventually, but I think a lot of you guys already know that I don't really like my forgotten AU's anymore, both for MHA and for TWST, which has resulted in me deleting a bulk of works (mainly just world building stuff) from the tags.
Don't worry, all the main fics/concepts are still up, but they were just stuff I didn't like having on my blog anymore, and rather than ruminating about them I decided to delete them. I have kept backlogs of the more important stuff, in case I ever want to reupload them, but I don't know if that's ever going to happen.
Really sorry if this disappoints you guys, I understand if you don't want to follow me anymore, but it was a big reason for why I wasn't writing as much, and it makes me feel a lot better.
Also I wanna let y'all know that I'm caught up on both the One Piece Manga and Anime, so if you wanna send in One Piece asks please feel free.

Yandere God of War preview
I wanted to give you guys something after not writing in a long while, this is all I have written for what I think is gonna be a fic/series, I'm not sure. I'd love to hear your guys thoughts on this and if you'd be interested in seeing more.
For reference, reader is mortal. They're around 5-6 when they meet Faye, and around 15-16 when journeying with Kratos and Atreus. I interpret Atreus as 10-11 in 2018. I'm gonna say theres about 5 years in between 2018 and Ragnarök, so reader currently is about 20-21 and Atreus is about 15-16.
This jumps all over the place, so I apologize if this is confusing.

deltarune I'd like to talk about Flowery because he's my favorite antagonist. But is he an antagonist?
People often look at his relationship with Ralsei, but I find his exchange with Susie interesting as well. He tells her to close the fountain in the castle. Susie furiously refuses, and he calls her a "heroine," even though it was meant to attack her. In reality, Flowery is right. Susie isn't the hero she claims to be. She's a good person, but a hero is someone who can sacrifice something personal for the greater good. Susie can't do that yet, so she does exactly the same thing as Flowery. She's focused on her own well-being and the well-being of her friends and doesn't see the bigger picture. Another thing is that, in my opinion, Flowery isn't even an antagonist. He has negative traits and doesn't always act the right way, but despite this, he does exactly the same things as the Fun Gang. He try to save his friends and make Asgore happy. He also simply wants to live. This is also demonstrated by the fact that he doesn't kill us after we lose the fight, he just leaves us. And in my opinion, this makes him the best main boss. He's not even evil, of course he's focused on his goals too much and doesn't see their negative consequences, but even so, he's a good person. (I also love his theme. I found a cover of it and can't stop listening to it.)
I think the word you're looking for is villain, because Flowery is definitely an antagonist. Flowery's goal the entire chapter is to prevent the destruction of the Dark Fountain, which goes against the goals of the Fun Gang, or the protagonist. However, I do agree this you that Flowery is a very interesting character, and that it becomes more interesting when you analyze Asgore's character, like the fact that Flowery is definitely meant to be a mirror of Rudy, with Flowery calling himself "Asgore's college buddy" and with him looking similar to Rudy visually. I also find it very interesting that Asgore's Soul's all resemble humans, and I wonder how this is meant to reflect his feelings/love for Kris.
None of the main bosses of Deltarune are evil, with the only one that could arguably be "evil" being King, but it's pretty clear that he's just angry at the Lightners for abandoning him and his people.
Deltarune this might be a hot take, but it’s my opinion—I really didn't like the secret boss in Chapter 5. And before anyone says anything: it’s not that the fight or the music (which is awesome) is bad. It’s about what the game did with secret bosses at the start. In Chapters 1 and 2, the secret bosses were incredible—the whole concept of bosses driven mad by the truth about their world and the "freedom motive." Between Chapters 2 and 3/4, there were so many amazing concepts for secret bosses, each showcasing a different kind of madness. For example, Jevil thinks he’s free because he’s locked away outside the game, while Spamton actively seeks that freedom—even though they both know the same truth. They each react to the truth differently, and that’s why I loved the concept. But then came Chapters 3 and 4. Regarding the Knight—I have nothing against that fight; while I think a different character might have been more interesting, the boss itself is still good. However, my opinion on the Gerson fight is more negative. Again, not because the fight is weak—it’s amazing—but I still maintain that it should have been part of the main story given how important he is to Susie. Plus, if you skip the fight with him, Gerson’s appearance at the very end feels just... weird (since not everyone does secret bosses). And then Chapter 5: like I said, the fight is really cool, but it’s just too silly to take seriously. I know everyone has their own opinion, but I think the old secret boss concept was far more interesting. This is the first chapter in all of Deltarune where I find the main boss much more interesting than the secret one.
I really don't know how to explain my feelings when it comes to the secret bosses because I think they're very complicated.
I think the secret bosses were originally meant to be fun optional content with little lore reveals and not much more. I think when chapter 2 released, and along with it the weird route, Toby reevaluated how he wanted the secret bosses to be handled and to how much extent they were relevant. I think that's why Spamton is also the final boss of the weird route, and why he's a reflection of Kris and their own struggles. I think that's why Chapter 3 has two secret bosses, ERAM and the Knight, with ERAM's route (the sword route) being a direct reflection of the weird route, and the Knight and Kris literally working together. However, these are all reasons why some people have felt disappointed when it comes to Gerson and Mew Mew, because these characters don't have any lore purpose or relevance within their boss fight, but I don't think that was necessarily the point of the secret bosses to begin with, which takes us back to the original point.
Gerson and Mew Mew both serve a thematic purpose, both story wise and within specific characters arcs. Gerson, like you mentioned, is important to Susie and her own self worth, and Mew Mew is meant to reflect Kris's own struggle with accepting or rejecting the Soul. I think Mew Mew is a little more disappointing because Gerson still serves his thematic purpose for Susie even if you don't fight him. He still encourages Susie and leaves an impact on her, where as Mew Mew, or Pink, doesn't show up at all unless you fight her, which gives of major Jevil vibes from Chapter 1. I personally think that Jevil is the worst secret boss because I prefer when they're characters we have some relationship with before fighting them. I think this is why Spamton, the Knight, and Gerson are all cool bosses, because they're not just meant to be secrets but they also push the greater themes and narratives of the chapter itself or the game as a whole.
TDLR: I don't think that every secret boss necessarily needs to be some big lore drop machine, and I think they can serve unique purposes for their specific chapters, however I understand why people have been feeling disappointed with the more recent bosses. I think Mew Mew is fine for chapter 5 specifically, because it's meant to be the last "fun chapter" and Mew Mew is a really fun fight. It really just boils down to personal preference at the end of the day.
I don't know if any of this made sense so I'm sorry.
I know we've been talking about Deltarune a lot recently but I would love to talk about more other fandoms if you guys are interested. Obviously I've been talking a big on God of War recently, but I'd love to talk more about other fandoms that you guys are interested in, whether you'd just want to discuss them or if you have x reader/yandere thoughts, I do really want to get back into writing.
(Also I promise you I'm working on my GOW fic I'm just really lazy).
I'm starting to think that Pacifist/Mercy route in Deltarune is making everyone but Kris happy, I'm scared- is there even a route where they can be happy ? Or are they just doomed ?
This is a pretty common sentiment I've seen with the release of Chapter 5, and I honestly think that the tragedy of Kris's character is that they cannot both be happy and also be controlled by someone else. Maybe this is unpopular, but I'm a fan of tragic characters if they serve the purpose of the narrative, and I think Kris serves that purpose. Don't get me wrong, I want Kris to be happy by the end of the story, but I think it's very interesting to watch how the story unfolds through a character like Kris.
I think the normal route is trying to give us a similar feeling to the True Ending of Undertale. At the end of Undertale, Flowey tells you that while you can make a true reset, these characters have lives and that it would be horrible to rip them from their lives in order to experience more of the game. He specifically asks to let Frisk and Frisk's friends enjoy their lives, and I think a similar sentiment is meant to be had in terms of Deltarune with Kris.
I do think this game will end with Kris happy (I'm gonna make an unpopular statement here but I kinda don't like how a lot of fans only view Kris as getting a happy ending through being in a relationship, but that's neither here nor there). I know the Nice Guy and Burgerpants scene was meant to show how Susie might react to the Kris Soul puppet reveal, but I don't really view Susie immediately turning on Kris, both in the Normal and Weird Route. I think more of the tragedy is coming from Ralsei reveals and the possible destruction of Castle Town.

"Treating the Soul like this eldritch being makes it easier for people to justify the weird route, because it's no longer you making those choices, it's this "higher being" that is making those choices." - personally I am very aware that *I*— the human being playing the game— am the eldritch being for these characters and I am making the choice to be merciful or not, but Deltarune is a bit peculiar since it seems like the characters... aren't that scared of us during ch5 pacifist route. Even with all the menu and settings shenanigans. When Ralsei and Flowery are waiting for us to choose if we enable the voice clips again or not, the way they interacted with us was.. a bit too normal. Almost like treating us like another party member (which makes sense, we kinda are). I don't know if it's because we've been really kind and we put them at ease or if it's because our actions don't have the potential to cause too much damage overall in their world. Emphasizing the "Your choices don't matter." statement from the beginning of the game.
Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I think the player in the normal route is viewed more neutrally, but fundamentally you're still ripping someone's autonomy away and the center of other characters suffering. Even if you're not killing people and destroying Noelle's life, you're still (potentially) a key piece of this puzzle that Kris is forced to participate in. I think the reason why the scene with the voice clips and menu is treated like a joke is because Susie doesn't really know the true nature of the soul in the same way Ralsei or Kris does, so there's no reason to assume that there's something greater at play.
Regardless of what route you play, Kris does not like you. You're the reason they suffer because you strip them of any autonomy they might have. They're entire character is centered around not having the ability to make the choices they want to make, because whether is Carol, or the Knight, or you, they're at the control of someone else. In my opinion, the "You're choices don't matter" statement is meant to be more of a reflection on how we the player tend to excuse our own enjoyment of the game despite our enjoyment being pain for others. Our choices don't matter, so hurting Noelle doesn't matter. Our choices don't matter, so stripping Kris of their autonomy doesn't matter. And perhaps, on a deeper level, it's a reflection of Kris and their lack of autonomy. This was a clear theme in Undertale as well, where the Genocide and True Pacifist route was trying to make you see that these characters, at least to an extent, were real, and that you're effect on them was real too.
My point with the original post wasn't to say that I think some fans don't understand their actions have consequences or that you're a bad person if you play the game, it's just that I think some fans tend to not think about their choices critically, and painting the Soul as this cosmic being with higher authority inadvertently separates your actions from the effect they have in game. The point is that you're not an angel, you're a person behind a screen making choices, and even though these characters aren't real, those choices definitely do matter to them.
I also wanted to share some other ideas I’ve come across so far, especially in the weird route. At first, when I saw the route, I had a violent physical reaction, but then I realized it's supposed to be something else—not suicide. In the weird route, if you keep selecting “Proceed,” Noelle and Kris eventually reach a point where Noelle’s portrait is illuminated, and her hair is no longer wet (which is strange, considering they’re underwater). This led to the idea that Noelle and Kris have transcended the boundaries of the game. Another theory I think might be possible is that Noelle absorbed the soul and became a demigod, but that has much darker implications when we think about Kris...
I do think that Noelle in the Normal Route is referencing suicide when she mentions wanting to "run away." She originally mentions wanting to "leave" and it's only Susie who brings up running away. This is only further proved by the weird route where Susie said that Noelle was trying to give away large amounts of money, which is pretty common in people with suicidal ideation, with them no longer seeing value in certain items or money. However, similar to how, in the normal route, Noelle talks about how Susie has made her want to stay, in the weird route it's Kris, or more specifically the feeling Kris gives her, that makes her want to "stay."
I do think that what we're seeing in the ending of Chapter 5's weird route is Noelle and Kris breaking the game, since so much of the weird route (and honestly Noelle's character) is about sequence breaking. Sequence breaking in video game terms is when you achieve a certain result in a video game by either breaking it or doing things out of order (think speed runs) In the Weird Route, you obtain items you shouldn't be able to, perform moves that you shouldn't be able to, and fully break the normal sequence of the game, like skipping most of chapter 5 and all of chapter 6 to get to chapter 7.
Where things are left up for debate is what Noelle "sees" under the Lake. It's clear, like you've said, that they're not underwater, but rather in a new place. I assumed that they've reached the "memory" or internal "code" of the game because if we're meant to believe Dess "drowned" in a similar way, then it would explain the unused dialogue talking in the code. It's literally Dess exploring this dark abyss and talking as she does so. However, we could also believe that Noelle sees Kris's Soul, something only a few others characters acknowledge. Perhaps after obtaining this fourth wall knowledge she's fused with the Soul in a similar vain to Asriel in Undertale.
There's a reality where you can maybe interpret this version of Noelle as the Angel from the prophecy, where the "banishment" is Noelle leaving Hometown through the lake, and "meeting it's desire" is her meeting the Soul. Perhaps that's why Susie is so angry at the Prophecy? Because she must defeat Noelle? But this would also assume that this is the basic corse of events in the Normal Route, which is fine if we believe Toby when he says that Deltarune will only have one ending. I feel like this could only be confirmed more when we see Ralsei's reaction to Noelle in Castle Town.
I would love to hear more of your thoughts on the nature of the soul, in both routes.
I've had some suspicions since Chapter 4 that I'd like to share. I'm not sure Noelle knows exactly what's going on, especially when it comes to the soul, but if this is the reaction of someone who feels the “power” of the soul—to simply lose their mind and beg us to give them orders so they can escape their current reality—I think it’s possible that in other timelines, Dess/Carol may have encountered the soul and retained those memories. That would explain why Dess has a closet half full of heart-shaped pillows and why Carol keeps them on display by the bedroom door. It's like an obsession, like their minds are broken after a past encounter. Just like the Gaster followers and Jevil/Spamton, in a way.
Gaster and the player are two eldrich beings outside of their reality that have the power to shatter the minds of those they touch.
After meeting with Gaster, Jevil realized he was living in a simulation and “went mad.” His madness also affected Seam. Spamton completely lost it after losing contact with Gaster, who had been giving him orders and helping him reach the pinnacle of success. This drove him to seek out another master—the soul. It seems to be happening to Noelle now; after seeing the "power" she possessed when she obeyed the soul’s commands… she had a mental breakdown.
I think that nature of the Soul is entirely up to the player. I've never particularly been a fan of how the fandom treats the Soul like this eldritch being, because I think divorces the choices of the player from the impact that Soul has on the game, if that makes sense. Treating the Soul like this eldritch being makes it easier for people to justify the weird route, because it's no longer you making those choices, it's this "higher being" that is making those choices. However, from the context of how the characters view the soul, I think it makes sense that they would view it as some greater being with greater power, because the things they can do is so wildly beyond comprehension in the context of the game. It can read minds and control others and hurt others, so of course to them it would be this great thing.
I think we see it enough in Chapter 5, where Noelle is fully obsessed with the "freedom" the Soul gives Kris, how Kris no longer has to do "Kris things" and how Noelle no longer want to just do "Noelle things." I think it's really telling how Noelle, Jevil, and Spamton all view the Soul as something offering them more freedom, whereas Kris views it as taking away their freedom. It could be a larger philosophical conversation around how to some the presence of a higher being that all your choices and actions are controlled by is more freeing to others. Even though Noelle isn't entirely aware of what the Soul is, compared to those like Jevil or Spamton, it's clear that Noelle inadvertently has come to the same conclusions they have, that this world is nothing more than a cell or strings holding her back, and that Kris has unlocked some way of seeing the world for what it truly is.
Now whether or not Carol and Dess have come into contact with the Soul is up for debate. A lot of people have theorized that the Soul was originally Dess's and then put inside Kris for some reason, which would explain why Carol seemingly knows of its existence. However, this begs of the question of how Souls work in Deltarune, since Undertale established that Monster and Human Souls are separate things. It wouldn't really make sense for Dess's soul to be a human soul, unless Souls work differently than they do Undertale. Instead, I like to think that the Soul was what Kris and Catti summoned and that somehow that led to Dess coming into contact with it, which could've been the "thing that happened all those years ago" referenced by Asgore. Perhaps, similar to how Noelle is disillusioned by life and believes that Kris (the Soul) is giving her freedom, Dess came to those came conclusions, which drew her to the Lake and caused her to see the same thing Noelle claims to see beneath it.
I could see the weird route being the "route" or path that Dess went on if we are to believe she found a dark world at some point. Maybe not one to one but something similar. This is more of a guess and less of a theory, because I think it explains why Carol in Chapter 4 is seemingly not taken aback by Noelle's personality change if you do the weird route. I've always found it strange how in the weird route that chapter, she tells Kris that Noelle is excited to see them. I'm not trying to imply that Carol doesn't care about what is happening to her daughter, but if we're meant to believe that Carol is motivated by finding Dess and bringing her back by any means, perhaps she wants Noelle to go down that same path and find her. I just find it really hard to believe that Carol knows what dark worlds are, is working with Kris, is working with the Knight, but somehow wouldn't know what Kris is doing with Noelle in the weird route. This also could explain why many believe the Weird Route to be the "true ending", as it could be the route in which Dess is saved.
I think this is why it's so hard to figure out what the point of the Soul is, because it's easy for us the player to assume it's the most important thing ever, because we center ourselves in this story. However, it's also possible that the point of the Soul is just not something we can understand at this point.
What I want to end this post off with is Gastor as a character and his presence in the game. I think a lot of people don't want to admit that Gastor is incredibly important to this game, even if he won't ever be physically present (I fully believe that Gastor won't ever physically be revealed in Deltarune). Chapter 5 and the weird route only proves that Gastor is very important to this game and it kinda annoys me how often I see people act shocked that people are finding connections to Gastor as if Toby makes coincidences like this. Like, people aren't crazy for finding the connection between Gastor and Noelle. I could likely make a post dedicated to all the Gastor links in Deltarune. This is very off topic but I'm happy that I'm not the only one seeing the Gastor references.
I want to rant more about Deltarune so please don't read if you don't want to be spoiled, but I'd love to hear your guys thoughts on any of the things I mention (I'll make sure to tag spoilers just in case)
Spoiler Warning:
After playing through Deltarune Chapter 5, all I'm going to say is that this chapter probably had the most impact character development wise compared to previous chapters, but since this fandom only cares about lore most people think the chapter was boring/useless.

Just finished God of War Ragnarok, amazing game 10/10, please feel free to send in asks/request that maintain spoilers now that I've finished the game. (Also feel free to read this if you haven't)
oh em gee it’s soo yummy and interesting!!
to add onto your GoW idea feast, i think that atreus would deep down be so ashamed of his younger self and he would keep on bringing hunts and whatnot as a form of repentance/apology because he’s wayyyy too embarrassed to truly apologize face to face with reader, until he gets to ironwood where he gets a good talk with angrboda about prophecy. When he gets back and kratos gets all mad (rightfully so lol) he sort of explains how he wanted to come to terms with reader and make amends, kratos is taken aback and i think mimir would kinda play devils advocate there buuuuut he would definitely scold atreus. mimir’s dynamic with reader would be pretty much nonexistent lmao but he would lowk feel bad for reader, now i’m mostly curious when kratos would soften up and go see reader face to face again but that’d be spoilers (can’t be a cheeky lass lol) now now nowww for freya she always had that soft spot for reader as she always had for atreus and sometimes would think about asking about reader to kratos when it’s quiet at sindri’s house.
errr that’s what i could vomit lol hopefully it’s not straight dog water………😭😭😭😭
It's pretty obvious that Atreus would feel very embarrassed about the way his younger self acted, even if it realistically made sense in the moment. There are moments when Atreus wishes you were there to see him mature over is journey, and I think you're a motivator for him and his own personal growth as time passes, even if you're no longer in his life. I like to think that at some point Atreus attempts to reconcile with the excuse that he want's to recruit you against Odin. Like you said it would probably be at some point after leaving Ironwood. I could see Kratos growing close with you once again if you travel to Vanaheim with him, along with Freya. Speaking of which, I think she probably feels a lot of guilt for pushing you away, even if it was a result of her son's death.
Speaking of Mimir, I do think you would have some relationship with him. For reference, you leave shortly after Kratos saves Atreus from his sickness, after traveling back atop the mountain and Baldur destroyed the Jotunheim pathway. This means you would have at least somewhat of a relationship with him. Mimir often is driven by his regrets and quilt, specifically for his actions when he was working with Odin, making his uniquely compassionate to your plight. I imagine he recognizes that you're a child put in an impossibly stressful situation that no one could possibly understand, and even then you're pushed to the side.
