Just finished God of War Ragnarok, amazing game 10/10, please feel free to send in asks/request that maintain spoilers now that I've finished the game. (Also feel free to read this if you haven't)
oh em gee itâs soo yummy and interesting!!
to add onto your GoW idea feast, i think that atreus would deep down be so ashamed of his younger self and he would keep on bringing hunts and whatnot as a form of repentance/apology because heâs wayyyy too embarrassed to truly apologize face to face with reader, until he gets to ironwood where he gets a good talk with angrboda about prophecy. When he gets back and kratos gets all mad (rightfully so lol) he sort of explains how he wanted to come to terms with reader and make amends, kratos is taken aback and i think mimir would kinda play devils advocate there buuuuut he would definitely scold atreus. mimirâs dynamic with reader would be pretty much nonexistent lmao but he would lowk feel bad for reader, now iâm mostly curious when kratos would soften up and go see reader face to face again but thatâd be spoilers (canât be a cheeky lass lol) now now nowww for freya she always had that soft spot for reader as she always had for atreus and sometimes would think about asking about reader to kratos when itâs quiet at sindriâs house.
errr thatâs what i could vomit lol hopefully itâs not straight dog waterâŚâŚâŚđđđđ
It's pretty obvious that Atreus would feel very embarrassed about the way his younger self acted, even if it realistically made sense in the moment. There are moments when Atreus wishes you were there to see him mature over is journey, and I think you're a motivator for him and his own personal growth as time passes, even if you're no longer in his life. I like to think that at some point Atreus attempts to reconcile with the excuse that he want's to recruit you against Odin. Like you said it would probably be at some point after leaving Ironwood. I could see Kratos growing close with you once again if you travel to Vanaheim with him, along with Freya. Speaking of which, I think she probably feels a lot of guilt for pushing you away, even if it was a result of her son's death.
Speaking of Mimir, I do think you would have some relationship with him. For reference, you leave shortly after Kratos saves Atreus from his sickness, after traveling back atop the mountain and Baldur destroyed the Jotunheim pathway. This means you would have at least somewhat of a relationship with him. Mimir often is driven by his regrets and quilt, specifically for his actions when he was working with Odin, making his uniquely compassionate to your plight. I imagine he recognizes that you're a child put in an impossibly stressful situation that no one could possibly understand, and even then you're pushed to the side.
I'm working on a fic for God of War, I don't know when it's going to be finished so I wanted to share the general plot with you guys. Keep in mind that I haven't finished God of War RagnarĂśk, I just completed Atreus's second visit to Asgard (the one where Thor nearly kills him), so please don't spoil anything.
Let me know if this sounds interesting, what you'd like to see, what characters, dynamics, stuff like that.
---
You grew up in the Wildwood with your parents, outside the protection stave Faye put up, unknown to you or your parents. All you knew is that the further depths of the woods were too dangerous to explore. Being a mortal, your parents worshipped and looked to the Gods for guidance, but when you were five years old they were killed by raiders, leaving you alone to fend for yourself. After the passing of Winter, Faye found you in the woods and took in upon herself to guide and protect you, raising you as if you were her own, teaching you how to hunt and protect yourself. She told you stories of Kratos, her husband, and of the hopes she had for her unborn child. One day, Faye left, leaving you alone for months, only to return and invite you to meet her son Atreus. It was there when you met Kratos, a hardened and cold man, who you couldn't imagine was married to Faye.
After Atreus birth, you spent most of your time at Faye's home rather than the other way around. Faye taught Atreus alongside you, much to the annoyance of Kratos. Despite his frequent absences, he made it clear you were not truly part of their family.
Even so, you tried to help Faye with Atreus, wanting to be seen as useful. As he was a sickly child, you were often the only interaction Atreus had outside his parents, making him very attached. In turn, Atreus began to become a brother to you, even though you knew deep down you were not truly one of them.
When Faye died, you were fifteen and Atreus was ten, and you fully expected to watch Atreus and Kratos leave on their journey and return to your life of solitude, only for Kratos to outright demand you come with them. It made Atreus happy, so it made you happy. On the journey, you encountered and befriended many of those you thought you'd never meet, dwarves and gods, and despite his destructive nature, you began to see Kratos for the scared father he was deep down. Over the journey, you began to believe you were proving yourself, opening up and, while not befriending, coming to a mutual respect with Kratos.
Until Kratos revealed his true nature to Atreus. Over the journey, he began to view you, a mortal, as nothing but a distraction, something that does nothing more but get in the way. Deep down, you knew that Atreus wasn't fully wrong. You were no God, but you knew how to protect yourself, keep yourself safe, but you were no match to Atreus and his newfound Godhood, nor were you a match for Kratos's love for Atreus. In the end, you refuse to make your way back up the mountain, leaving the two as you find your way back to Freya's home. She cares for you for a while, before she learns of her son's presence in Midgard, leave you alone once more. She returns a shell of her former self, after all is said and done, you're forced to leave. Alone once again, you return to your home in the Wildwoods, where you keep your distance from Atreus and Kratos as endless Winter rains upon you.
You knew they watched over you, hunts appear at your door, the protection stave is extended to reach beyond your home, and sometimes, while the world is quiet, you can hear Atreus work himself up outside your door, only to leave without revealing himself. Before the stave was extended, Freya would find herself at your home, where she'd tell you stories of her son, her eyes distant and mind far away. You'd often believe she saw him in you, but perhaps that was just assumption. After the stave was extended, you never saw her again.
While I have played through a good portion of God of War RagnarĂśk, I'm still figuring out how I want everything to play out in that. I'd really like to hear what you guys think and share any thoughts you have, if you have any. I don't know when I'll finish/release my fic, if I ever do, so please send in asks if this is something you'd want to see.
Hey honey, it's fine if you don't really want to write about yandere stuff anymore or for a while. If you still like writing, you can write about everything you feel motived or even talk about it.
As a writer, I understand these feelings about "my old writing". I felt kinda cringe when I read mine.
I just wanted to say I really like your writing, thoughts. Actually, everything your mind can muster. The way you express feelings always touch my soul. And, of course, I think you are really smart, kind, gentle and patience with us in this app. But, most of all, I think you are adorable. Honestly, my favorite blog.
So, if one day you feel like never writing again, I will be happy just to hear your thoughts.
It's not that I don't like writing Yandere stuff anymore, it's just that I feel like fandom is very much a different space than it was years ago. I miss the days when I could release a concept and people would actually engage with it. Now, when I release a concept, it's "when is this gonna be a fic." If I release a fic, it's "when is this going to be a series." If I release a series, it's "when is part 2, or part 3, or part 4," and so on and so forth. I say "hey guys, I wanna talk about this, is anyone interested?" and I get radio silence. A month or so later I'll get people asking why I'm not writing for said thing anymore, or if my interest in said thing went away.
I don't want to get on here and just complain about the lack of interactions, but interactions are what fuels so many writers on here, and I just think as fandom has become more mainstream it's become way more normalized to treat writing as a form of content creation that people are "owed" rather than something someone is putting so much time an effort into. When I put so much time into writing a concept and all I get is people asking me to turn it into a series, I don't take it as a compliment, I take it as people pressuring me into writing something I'm not interested in, and I just don't have the motivation to do that anymore. There's also just a lot of personal reasons I want to slow down on writing, but that's not to share.
TDLR: I'm going to continue to write what I want to write, and that just might mean that I'm not on here as much. I'm really grateful for the love and support you've all shown me over the years, and I'm glad we've had fun, but I fun things always come to an end. I'm not deleting my blog anytime soon (hopefully) but I do want to be as transparent as possible with you guys.

Hey guys, sorry for being so inconsistent this summer. Without getting too much into it, I've been feeling a little bit meh about my work (especially my older writing) and it's been making me really demotivated. Honestly, the yandere community just feels kinda meh as a whole right now, and as I've gotten older I've just felt less and less pull to write consistently. This blog has always been an outlet to me, and I'll always be happy for the time I've spent with it, but I'm never going to hold onto something that I don't feel passionate about, especially if it's just causing me to hate writing. This isn't me saying I'm quitting/deleting my blog, rather I'm putting the possibility out there so that you guys aren't confused when it eventually happens.
For the time being, I do still want to write more, like I've said in previous posts I'm super interested in writing for God of War, especially now that I'm about halfway through Ragnarok, and I've been watching season 3 of IWTV. I can't guarantee that I'll write anything substantial, but I'll definitely be sharing my thoughts and would love to hear yours.
GoW and the potential it has for angsty reader plot. đ It's been a few years since I've played the first game, but god.... The - somewhat - unintentional blame that Kratos (and at a point, Atreus) puts on Reader. A sense of burden heing placed on them the longer the journey goes on for despite not having really done anything -- but that's the problem, what are they doing besides being a hindrance to the father and son pair?
I think reader would wind up being watched+staying back with Brok and Sindri a lot, which puts another weird weight onto Kratos because despite his grief, he still worries over them. If he isn't there to protect them, who is? And then the second game???? UGH, the levels.
The angsty potential of GOW is the biggest reason why I wanted to write for it, especially when you consider how much family is integral to the stories of the games. Grief and the pain you experience, along with the fear that you'll pass down all your issues onto your child is very present. I think that Kratos sees the best parts of Fey but the worst parts of himself in Atreus, and so he remains so distant from him for a long time out of hope that he doesn't ruin him. I imagine he would feel the same for Reader, afraid that he could ruin something that good, just like he's bound to do with Atreus. They try their hardest to stay as useful and out of the way as possible, but sometimes staying with Brok and Sindri is the only option.
I honestly could see reader confiding in Freya, perhaps they feel guilty for the death of Baldur, despite all of his "issues." They want companionship and, deep down, they miss their parents. They've never felt lonelier than they do now, shunned by Atreus and Kratos, and now there's Fimbulwinter on the horizon.
oooh em gee!! every time my mind wanders about a piece of media itâs like you already thought about it which is soo cool lol. I finished GoW Ragnarok and was looking for stuff on tumblr next thing you know i see your account n im just like ânoooo way?! you too!!â lmaođ
anyways cheers!
I literally just got my copy of God of War RagnarĂśk and I'm super excited to talk about it more as I play it. I'm happy you guys seem interested!
hello, darling. I wanted to inquire...however what is the timeline for the forgotten reader au. Im rather confused and I loved your writing in the background reader for twst. If you could, please help me link all the posts? Or if you could, just link the first post regarding this. Love yoy from a dedicated reader
I don't plan on writing for the forgotten AU again (at least anytime soon tbh), but I honestly suggest reading the concept first, and then you can find most of the posts linked here. You can also use the tag on this posts to find all the posts about the AU.
Hi ! Your GOW au is so good! But I got a question. What does Atreus think of reader since I think he becomes a little (or not just a little) boastful when he learns the truth about what he is. Would he think lower of reader since they are a mortal? And what does the brothers sindri and Brock think of reader? Because they both have a lot of personality in the game and I wanted to know what do they think of mortal traveling with Kratos , Atreus, and Mimir. You donât need to answer this question if you donât want to. Bye!
Atreus's ego face when he learns that he's a god was a big motivator from writing this AU because I find it the most interesting aspect of his relationship with reader.
Before Fey's death, reader is basically an older sibling to Atreus, learning and growing alongside him. Atreus looks up to reader because they seem so "grown up" compared to him, due to how independent they are. Since Atreus grew up sickly and often unable to do much when he was younger, it was through reader that Atreus was able to learn and experience all the things that were often difficult for him. It was a relationship encouraged by Fey and then later discouraged by Kratos. When Fey passed, and reader assumes that they aren't going to be let along their journey, they're only really allowed to come along because of Atreus. When he learns that he's a God, I imagine that Atreus starts to internalize a lot of his father's feelings for reader, especially the more negative ones. In his child mind, it makes perfectly sense that his father doesn't like them because he's a God, and why would a God care for a mortal? He uses that same thought process to justify his anger whenever you help him or treat him like a child. He wants to be treated seriously so badly, so when both you and his father are treating him like the sickly little boy he "used to be", it makes him so angry. With both Atreus and Kratos pushing them away, I see Reader distancing themself as the journey continues, and by the time the portal to JĂśtunheim is destroyed, Atreus blames reader, arguing that a mortal shouldn't be traveling with them anyway. I like to imagine that at this point, Kratos is actually warming up to reader, especially if they helped when Atreus fell ill.
Brok and Sindri are really interesting but they're another case of "I don't really know how these characters feel about mortals." Similar to Mimir, I think their relationships with the Gods and Giants makes them more privy to non-mortals, while at the same time I think they're way more down to earth if you will compared to someone like Baldur.

Hi! I wanted to ask a question about your gow au if it isnât too much to ask. But what does Kratos think now of reader after the passing of faye? Does he care about them as much as Atreus or not? And (I think it isnât spoilers ) but what does mimir think of them after Kratos and Atreus get him? And does reader join their journey to help them throw Fayes ashes from the highest peak of a mountain?you donât have to answer this if it contain spoilers but I donât think so since I play gow a long time ago so I know the events (I think) Have a good day/night wherever you are!
Kratos's feelings are very complicated because they're built upon an intense hatred for himself and fear that he's going to ruin everyone around him. He felt that way with Fey, and once Fey changed him and made him into a better man, she died. He felt that way with Atreus, and he could see Atreus become the worst parts of himself. With you, I think he's reminded of Fey and the hope she had for the world and fears that getting close to you will mess that up, similar to how he was absent is much of Atreus's life for the same reason. In a roundabout way, he puts a lot of his anger and sadness at Fey's death on you, almost viewing you as this unwanted piece of their family unit. Kratos is untrustworthy and unwelcoming to those around him, and that doesn't not include you because you're a family friend. I like to imagine that Fey requests you spread her ashes with them after she's passed, and though Kratos doesn't want it, Atreus makes him, and the entire time you serve as a reminder that his family is broken.
Mimir is one of my favorite God of War characters, but I don't really know how Gods feel about mortals in the contexts of the GOW universe. Out of all of them, I imagine he's more receptive, and perhaps a tad bit concerned that you're traveling with them, than the other gods. Mimir likely doesn't really agree with the way Kratos treats you and is likely a large motivation for him opening up to you.
I finished God of War 2018 and totally have plans to play God of War RagnarĂśk in the future, but as of currently I can't stop thinking about Platonic Yandere Kratos and Laufey with a mortal who they sudo adopt.
What I find most interesting is the angst potential, with Kratos, a man who is terrified of being a parent, and Laufey, someone who desperately wants to live her life completely before her death, never agreeing or even fully articulating how they feel about you. You live in the woods near them, and for a long time, there's an understanding that you live and they live, and there is nothing more to it. But then your parents die, and now you're a child left alone in the world. Maybe you're not exactly a child, maybe you're a teen or young adult, but the point stands regardless. While Kratos travels, Fey grows close to you, teaches and guides you along with Atreus, and while you remain reserved and reluctant to all of this, you become a close friend to Atreus, something that some might call a sibling. Kratos hates it, finds your presence distracting and disruptive. His hatred is born from care, care for Atreus and Fey. All of this births a strange feeling in the household, where it's understood that you're more than a family friend but it's never exactly discussed. And when Fey passes, it's like that all explodes, and what's left are two broken people who are lost and confused.
I honestly don't know if I'll write anything for this, since I feel like I'll have to play RagnarĂśk for a lot of context, and because I don't know if anyone will be interested, but if you want to talk about God of War please send in asks (just no RagnarĂśk spoilers).
Just wanted to say I loved your Hail Mary fic and to thank you for writing it. I was wondering if u are going to turn it into a series or make a pt 2 by any chance?
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed my PHM stuff. I don't plan on doing a part two or continuing the fic into a series anytime soon, but I would generally enjoy talking more about Project Hail Mary.
Playing God of War 2018 for the first time and I don't think I'm emotionally prepared for this game.
I don't know if I'll hold up on this, but would you guys be interested in platonic yandere talks about God of War? Let me know if you guys would be interested and what you would like to see if so.
If Reader was to be put in a dorm room with anyone you'd think it would be sphinx Cats? Or any other hairless species? Since they have shared temp needs (aka the heating higher in their room bc no fur). Like it makes sense, and it spares heat money, and saves the trouble for arguements over the thermostat.
Or would reader be alone? Ngl i would prefer to be by myself, i go insane without my personal space.
So in canon reader lives in a single dorm while at school, and while I've seen some people suggest that they would stay with apes since they're human ancestors, but I think that the Cherryton staff would care more about reader's safety in the light of Tem's murder rather than truly unifying them with animals.
Deep down, reader's presence at Cherryton is meant to help their image after a murder and uphold Cherryton's ideals of coexistence between species. Because of this, they're not necessarily trying to integrate reader within the school by having them live with other animals, they don't even push them to join clubs or social events, but they care about keeping them alive so they can uphold their image.

Hello, I've seen your "what's Tamsy like when he's in love" and I'd like to ask if you could do one for Zodyl, please? He quickly grew to be one of my faves
Hope you have a nice day/night!
I think Zodyl views love through the eyes of an experiment rather than a genuine emotion. He doesn't process the feeling as something real inside him, but instead something to be tested and understood. He pushed you boundaries and the depths of both yours and his love for you as a way of "testing" how far each of you will go for each other. For him, his feelings for you always remain the same.
I stand by the fact that Zodyl is creepy. He stares at you for way longer than necessary, he asks personal questions about yourself as a way of seeing what's "too far", he knows too much about you. He doesn't express his emotions very clearly unless it's too overwhelming, so moments of "love" or "passion" are indistinguishable from moments of "sadness" or "anger." This doesn't mean that he doesn't feel love, it just means that Zodyl won't show it clearly. It's likely that Zodyl knows of your feelings before you ever know of his, and he prefers it that way.
Surprisingly or not, I don't see him as being as manipulative as Tamsy, mainly because I think Zodyl skips the manipulations all together and expresses things honestly. If he gets to a point in his "experiment" where he concludes that revealing his true self would lead to a positive outcome, he does so without hesitation. It's so clear that it's easy to think he's joking in the begging, then you remember that Zodyl doesn't joke.
Love with Zodyl is one filled with mystery, not because he's purposefully keeping things from you like Tamsy, but because he's naturally a mysterious person. Zodyl doesn't express himself, because either he's entirely too focused on his own goals, or because there's nothing to express in the first place. He's honest almost to a comedic degree, because if you get to the point of actually being in a relationship with Zodyl, he's trusting you completely.
Zodyl's actual feelings are very confusing. There's no rhyme or reason for how they came to be, there's not some magical moment that caused him to fall for you, he just did. If you asked him what he likes about you, he doesn't have an answer, not because he doesn't like you, but because there's nothing specific about you he likes. He likes you. He'll tell you that there came to be a number of things that he enjoyed about you, but not one thing that stood out. To Zodyl, this is because his feelings are so foreign that he can't understand what's driving him, which is why he takes so long trying to figure out every aspect of them.
Do you still write about One Piece ?
Yeah I do, sorry for taking such a long break, but I'm gonna try and post more regularly now.
