Sanji is in the limelight again (no spoilers) so I've been thinking about him a lot more.
I've always found conversations around Sanji really interesting as someone who likes him, because he's kinda similar to Nami for me. I've discussed previously how I dislike the way Nami is talked about within the modern fanbase, because they'll claim to hate how she's become "nothing but fanservice", while also refusing to discuss her or her characterization outside of her fanservice moments. In a similar vain, people who dislike Sanji will claim to wish that he was more than his perverted nature, while also refusing to acknowledge to discuss any of the characterization he received within Whole Cake Island, boiling him down to nothing but a pervert. In both instances, these characters are only discussed within the context of the thing they're supposedly hated for, preventing either of them from getting moments of actual characterization.
I can't necessarily blame fans for either of these cases, however, because the characterization of both of them is purely a result of Toei and Oda, who seem purely interested in exploring certain aspects of characters while ignoring others. If Nami is going to constantly be put in situations where she's going to be sexualized, and Sanji is going to be put in situations where he is going to be a pervert, I can't be surprised that these characters are viewed within those respective contexts.
I think where it bothers, specifically with Sanji, is when people essentially make up stuff about him in order to make him seem worse than he actually is. Don't get me wrong, there are multiple moments within both the Anime and Manga where I question Oda's writing decisions, but I also think claiming that Sanji ONLY respects women because Zeff told him too is an insane stretch, and goes back to my point of people purposely refusing to acknowledge the character writing of WCI in order to prove their own beliefs about Sanji.
I don't know, I really like Sanji, but sometimes I wonder if my love for him is actually the Fanon version of him, or if I'm correct in believing that a lot of people do not like Sanji because they refuse to see him outside his gag. I'd love to hear your guys thoughts.
Would Ace get nightmares about Reader in marineford like Luffy ?
Where Luffy has nightmares about Ace's death, I imagine Ace really ruminates and fixates on Reader's potential death in his head. Ace isn't necessarily afraid of death, he accepted it long ago, and it was only the love shown from those around him that moved him away from that mindset. It's your death that he fears, believing that it's repentance for cheating his cursed fate. Most of the time, his nightmares follow you dying by his hands, burning you alive or leading you to your death. He's always forced to watch you die thought, he's never allowed to avoid it, and it always makes him worried that you're not doing well on your journey with his brother.
Need to see jabber as a platonic yandere
I made an old post where I said Jabber would have had a bad upbringing, but I read somewhere the Kei Urana said Jabber had a pretty normal upbringing, so I kinda wanted to shift my interpretation of him as a character.
I feel as though Jabber is someone who is very smart and as such has felt misunderstood and alone, feeling as though everything around him is dull and pointless. I previously assumed that this feeling could've been compounded from a poor upbringing, but I like to imagine that his lack of belonging made him seek out more dangerous experiences in order to both understand himself and others. Growing up on the Ground is difficult, and perhaps in a childish way Jabber assumed that gaining "strength" was the only way to really bond with people, because strength is what gave people purpose, it what separated those from useful to worthless, what kept people alive. I still do believe that Jabber expresses love or companionship through acts to violence or fighting, because like I said Jabber believes strength is the fundamental core of a person, and that strength what makes someone who they are. It's why he gets upset when people hold back in battle, because he views of them as hiding themself away in a sense.
Regardless of Jabber's upbringing, his violence is poof that he cares. He fights hard for you, he hurts for you, he keeps going for you. Every drop of blood is bled for you, the poisons he makes are for you, the complicated chemicals and equations he goes over in his head are for you. It's one complicated road that always leads back to you.
At one point, I called Jabber a cat, because I felt as though he experiences this push and pull before immediately accepting his feelings. He goes through these phases of finding you very boring, especially if you don't immediately match his energy, and never leaving you alone. At some point, Jabber might realize how "fickle" you are, maybe sense that your strength isn't comparable to his, and vow to help you get stronger. In his mind, this means opening himself up to you, literally and metaphorically. He shares parts of himself he hasn't with others, he trains with you, he gives you complicated "medicines" that he swears will keep you strong. He tries to keep you with him, because he doesn't want to loose you.
I do believe Jabber views the Raiders as his family, and you now are apart of his family. He considers you a sibling, someone to rely on, someone that protects him and that he protects as well. I honestly think Jabber wanting you to protect him is the greatest sign that he's gotten close to you. Both of you will protect each other, be there for each other, and you'll never have to leave.
Also you guys probably weren't wondering but I have also caught up to the Gachiakuta manga, so please feel free to send in asks.

I'm rewatching One Piece for the first time in a while and after getting to Alabasta, I forgot how much of a goof Ace was. Like bro really just showed up, fucked around, nearly killed a family of three, and then leaves.
He's such a goober I love him.
Are you still taking requests for your beastars x human au? If not, thats okay
But if you are, would you be willing to write a bonding moment/ connection between either Gosha,Ibuki or Gouhin and reader. To where they are giving reader adult guidance/reassurance. I liked how you said that Gouhin and Ibuki want to be mentors/father figures to reader.
Maybe Gouhin could be helping reader feel like having a relationship with carnivores/herbivores is something to not give up on
Or maybe when reader is unsure about their relationship with louis (due to louis claiming that they could never understand each other) Ibuki helps reader understand how much louis cares for them, without exposing his feelings for reader
So I wanna apologize to you anon because I kinda went my own direction with this, and because I took a long time to answer this ask. My goal for this was to explore readers depression and kinda how that's only exasperated by the people around them, if that makes sense? I hope that makes sense.
TW: This AU doesn't follow some aspects of Canon (Ibuki is alive and Shishigumi is out of prison), reader isn't in a good headspace but doesn't really acknowledge it, there's one reference to reader "wanting to die" as a joke, I had to make some assumptions about what characters are up to post the manga, there's probably spelling/grammar mistakes in this.

You really need to find a doctor soon. Â
Usually that’s not that big of a deal. Usually, if something's up, you go to the family doctor in town. He’s an old man who’s been working basically since the dawn of time, which means he’s pretty old, but it’s better than nothing. He knows how to make medicine for pretty much any issue, and he’s pretty sweet, if not oblivious at times. Your grandparents said he delivered you and your parents, which is pretty weird to hear from them, but maybe that’s why you’ve always found him sweet rather than annoying. Usually, if you don’t feel well, it doesn’t take much to just find him in his office and ask for an appointment.Â
But of course, that couldn’t just be the case.Â
I think one of my favorite dynamics when it comes to the One Piece isekai AU is the kinda subtle rivalry between Luffy and Ace, especially when you consider that Luffy did not like Reader post timeskip.
Something I wish I would've established better in my Isekai AU is how Luffy's feelings change, even if subtly, after Marineford. I've always said that Luffy's feelings for you are pretty complicated before the saving of Ace, but I fully believe that Luffy doesn't actually develop romantic feelings until after Marineford, and perhaps even after returning to the crew. It's not as if he doesn't realize his feelings, but I imagine he spends so much time during those two years really trying to understand what he feels and why he feels that way. He struggles with memories of the War, with Whitebeards death, with Ace's kidnapping, and with the disappearance of most of his crew. But most of all, I think I think this creates a really complicated set of emotions within Luffy, which cloud his budding feelings for you.
This is why I think he would only fully realize what he's feeling once he sees you with Ace after returning to Sabaody, because he's coming to the realization that he's missed out on so much of you. Before, he didn't care that you and Ace were friends, but now he acutely aware of the inside jokes and the nicknames and the very detailed knowledge you've given Ace of your world. Why haven't you taught him anything? Why haven't you given him a nickname? Why don't you two share inside jokes? Luffy's never compared himself to Ace before, but he can't help do so when you talk about Ace as if you two have some deeper relationship that he doesn't understand.
I don't necessarily think it's jealousy, because I don't think either Ace or Luffy view themselves as rivals, but I do think that Ace serves as a constant reminder for what Luffy regrets in your relationship with him, because he wants so badly to have that type of relationship with you.
(ngl I really want to rewrite some aspects of my Isekai AU, because looking back at my old works, they're kinda awful)
Please anything with UTA 🙏
Uta kinda exists in a weird place with me, because on one hand, I really like her, I like One Piece film red, and I like the vibe she has overall. On the other hand, I think it's really hard to form a real opinion on her since Oda doesn't really seem interested in exploring her in a canon sense. We know that she's canon to One Piece, and that it's Film Red that isn't necessarily canon, but I wish, if that was the case, that we could learn more about her in the actual story, if that makes sense. I totally understand that the current story just doesn't involve her, and that's okay, but I would like to see how Uta affects characters like Luffy and Shanks, why Uta has stopped traveling with Shanks, so on and so forth. It could just be as simple as "Uta has her own goals that no longer involve Shanks", but I would just like to see more of her outside a silhouette in a small panel. If that's the most she's ever going to be addressed, then I don't really see my interest in her growing.
What were your thoughts on Brook in the récent Chapters ?
I personally really like it! Further explanation below, beware of One Piece Manga spoilers:

I think the majority of your forgotten twst au got deleted.
Yeah don't worry that was me. I knew I was going to get this ask eventually, but I think a lot of you guys already know that I don't really like my forgotten AU's anymore, both for MHA and for TWST, which has resulted in me deleting a bulk of works (mainly just world building stuff) from the tags.
Don't worry, all the main fics/concepts are still up, but they were just stuff I didn't like having on my blog anymore, and rather than ruminating about them I decided to delete them. I have kept backlogs of the more important stuff, in case I ever want to reupload them, but I don't know if that's ever going to happen.
Really sorry if this disappoints you guys, I understand if you don't want to follow me anymore, but it was a big reason for why I wasn't writing as much, and it makes me feel a lot better.
Also I wanna let y'all know that I'm caught up on both the One Piece Manga and Anime, so if you wanna send in One Piece asks please feel free.
Yandere God of War preview
I wanted to give you guys something after not writing in a long while, this is all I have written for what I think is gonna be a fic/series, I'm not sure. I'd love to hear your guys thoughts on this and if you'd be interested in seeing more.
For reference, reader is mortal. They're around 5-6 when they meet Faye, and around 15-16 when journeying with Kratos and Atreus. I interpret Atreus as 10-11 in 2018. I'm gonna say theres about 5 years in between 2018 and Ragnarök, so reader currently is about 20-21 and Atreus is about 15-16.
This jumps all over the place, so I apologize if this is confusing.

deltarune I'd like to talk about Flowery because he's my favorite antagonist. But is he an antagonist?
People often look at his relationship with Ralsei, but I find his exchange with Susie interesting as well. He tells her to close the fountain in the castle. Susie furiously refuses, and he calls her a "heroine," even though it was meant to attack her. In reality, Flowery is right. Susie isn't the hero she claims to be. She's a good person, but a hero is someone who can sacrifice something personal for the greater good. Susie can't do that yet, so she does exactly the same thing as Flowery. She's focused on her own well-being and the well-being of her friends and doesn't see the bigger picture. Another thing is that, in my opinion, Flowery isn't even an antagonist. He has negative traits and doesn't always act the right way, but despite this, he does exactly the same things as the Fun Gang. He try to save his friends and make Asgore happy. He also simply wants to live. This is also demonstrated by the fact that he doesn't kill us after we lose the fight, he just leaves us. And in my opinion, this makes him the best main boss. He's not even evil, of course he's focused on his goals too much and doesn't see their negative consequences, but even so, he's a good person. (I also love his theme. I found a cover of it and can't stop listening to it.)
I think the word you're looking for is villain, because Flowery is definitely an antagonist. Flowery's goal the entire chapter is to prevent the destruction of the Dark Fountain, which goes against the goals of the Fun Gang, or the protagonist. However, I do agree this you that Flowery is a very interesting character, and that it becomes more interesting when you analyze Asgore's character, like the fact that Flowery is definitely meant to be a mirror of Rudy, with Flowery calling himself "Asgore's college buddy" and with him looking similar to Rudy visually. I also find it very interesting that Asgore's Soul's all resemble humans, and I wonder how this is meant to reflect his feelings/love for Kris.
None of the main bosses of Deltarune are evil, with the only one that could arguably be "evil" being King, but it's pretty clear that he's just angry at the Lightners for abandoning him and his people.
Deltarune this might be a hot take, but it’s my opinion—I really didn't like the secret boss in Chapter 5. And before anyone says anything: it’s not that the fight or the music (which is awesome) is bad. It’s about what the game did with secret bosses at the start. In Chapters 1 and 2, the secret bosses were incredible—the whole concept of bosses driven mad by the truth about their world and the "freedom motive." Between Chapters 2 and 3/4, there were so many amazing concepts for secret bosses, each showcasing a different kind of madness. For example, Jevil thinks he’s free because he’s locked away outside the game, while Spamton actively seeks that freedom—even though they both know the same truth. They each react to the truth differently, and that’s why I loved the concept. But then came Chapters 3 and 4. Regarding the Knight—I have nothing against that fight; while I think a different character might have been more interesting, the boss itself is still good. However, my opinion on the Gerson fight is more negative. Again, not because the fight is weak—it’s amazing—but I still maintain that it should have been part of the main story given how important he is to Susie. Plus, if you skip the fight with him, Gerson’s appearance at the very end feels just... weird (since not everyone does secret bosses). And then Chapter 5: like I said, the fight is really cool, but it’s just too silly to take seriously. I know everyone has their own opinion, but I think the old secret boss concept was far more interesting. This is the first chapter in all of Deltarune where I find the main boss much more interesting than the secret one.
I really don't know how to explain my feelings when it comes to the secret bosses because I think they're very complicated.
I think the secret bosses were originally meant to be fun optional content with little lore reveals and not much more. I think when chapter 2 released, and along with it the weird route, Toby reevaluated how he wanted the secret bosses to be handled and to how much extent they were relevant. I think that's why Spamton is also the final boss of the weird route, and why he's a reflection of Kris and their own struggles. I think that's why Chapter 3 has two secret bosses, ERAM and the Knight, with ERAM's route (the sword route) being a direct reflection of the weird route, and the Knight and Kris literally working together. However, these are all reasons why some people have felt disappointed when it comes to Gerson and Mew Mew, because these characters don't have any lore purpose or relevance within their boss fight, but I don't think that was necessarily the point of the secret bosses to begin with, which takes us back to the original point.
Gerson and Mew Mew both serve a thematic purpose, both story wise and within specific characters arcs. Gerson, like you mentioned, is important to Susie and her own self worth, and Mew Mew is meant to reflect Kris's own struggle with accepting or rejecting the Soul. I think Mew Mew is a little more disappointing because Gerson still serves his thematic purpose for Susie even if you don't fight him. He still encourages Susie and leaves an impact on her, where as Mew Mew, or Pink, doesn't show up at all unless you fight her, which gives of major Jevil vibes from Chapter 1. I personally think that Jevil is the worst secret boss because I prefer when they're characters we have some relationship with before fighting them. I think this is why Spamton, the Knight, and Gerson are all cool bosses, because they're not just meant to be secrets but they also push the greater themes and narratives of the chapter itself or the game as a whole.
TDLR: I don't think that every secret boss necessarily needs to be some big lore drop machine, and I think they can serve unique purposes for their specific chapters, however I understand why people have been feeling disappointed with the more recent bosses. I think Mew Mew is fine for chapter 5 specifically, because it's meant to be the last "fun chapter" and Mew Mew is a really fun fight. It really just boils down to personal preference at the end of the day.
I don't know if any of this made sense so I'm sorry.

I know we've been talking about Deltarune a lot recently but I would love to talk about more other fandoms if you guys are interested. Obviously I've been talking a big on God of War recently, but I'd love to talk more about other fandoms that you guys are interested in, whether you'd just want to discuss them or if you have x reader/yandere thoughts, I do really want to get back into writing.
(Also I promise you I'm working on my GOW fic I'm just really lazy).
I'm starting to think that Pacifist/Mercy route in Deltarune is making everyone but Kris happy, I'm scared- is there even a route where they can be happy ? Or are they just doomed ?
This is a pretty common sentiment I've seen with the release of Chapter 5, and I honestly think that the tragedy of Kris's character is that they cannot both be happy and also be controlled by someone else. Maybe this is unpopular, but I'm a fan of tragic characters if they serve the purpose of the narrative, and I think Kris serves that purpose. Don't get me wrong, I want Kris to be happy by the end of the story, but I think it's very interesting to watch how the story unfolds through a character like Kris.
I think the normal route is trying to give us a similar feeling to the True Ending of Undertale. At the end of Undertale, Flowey tells you that while you can make a true reset, these characters have lives and that it would be horrible to rip them from their lives in order to experience more of the game. He specifically asks to let Frisk and Frisk's friends enjoy their lives, and I think a similar sentiment is meant to be had in terms of Deltarune with Kris.
I do think this game will end with Kris happy (I'm gonna make an unpopular statement here but I kinda don't like how a lot of fans only view Kris as getting a happy ending through being in a relationship, but that's neither here nor there). I know the Nice Guy and Burgerpants scene was meant to show how Susie might react to the Kris Soul puppet reveal, but I don't really view Susie immediately turning on Kris, both in the Normal and Weird Route. I think more of the tragedy is coming from Ralsei reveals and the possible destruction of Castle Town.
