I hate how nonbinary and trans intersex people are left out of trans discussion.
We can’t be sorted into TMA or TME easily, so people who use those labels tend to sort us based on our assigned sex.
Labels commonly used by intersex trans people are called useless.
Nonbinary people aren’t even included in trans rights posts half the time.
Intersex people are used as a way to prove that trans people exist.
Nonbinary people’s identities are disregarded and we are either considered basically just our assigned gender/sex, or basically a trans man/woman, depending on which thing makes us easier to hate or disregard.
It feels like binary and perisex trans people don’t give a shit about us, and it also seems like they don’t think the specific oppression we face is real. If they do, they don’t fucking talk about it.
Accepting and supporting trans people means accepting ALL trans people. Not just the binary ones, not just the perisex ones, not just the white ones, not just the abled ones, not just the ones you’re comfortable with. ALL OF US.
Talk about the lesser represented trans people, PLEASE. Talk about people with unconventional identities. You don’t support trans rights unless you support those of us with more complicated or conflicting identities.

You can’t call yourself a leftist if you hate children tbh, like you can choose not to have them or be around them, but outright hating the most marginalised group of people in the world who have absolutely no power or control over the most basic parts of their lives and bodies is a dangerous mentality to have and you need to grow the fuck up and get out of your edgy phase and start treating everyone around you like human beings, even the ones that piss you off.
Like the older I get, the more empathy I have for children. Imagine living on this planet for less than a decade and having to figure out every single thing from scratch, only for the people around you to treat you like a living doll and constantly invalidate your feelings because you haven’t learned how to express them beyond screaming at the top of your lungs, like you’d be having meltdowns in the grocery store as well. The least you can do is offer them some grace, everything is so fucking confusing and scary and overwhelming and they’re not able to communicate that properly and no one around them is explaining shit, and they are constantly at the mercy of whether or not the terrifyingly giant adults around them CHOOSE to be kind like genuinely put yourself in the situation of a child and tell me you wouldn’t also be freaking the fuck out.
The way society treats children is borderline inhumane, and you have the audacity to call them hellspawn crotch-goblins for screaming a little bit too loud or daring to be in the same vicinity as you.
I do also believe that hating children is a sign of underlying ableism, because most of the justifications of hating children comes down to “they’re annoying” or “they don’t know how to act” or “they’re gross” and if you are unable to treat people who lack social skills, who make loud or repetitive noises, who are incontinent etc. with basic respect and dignity, then what’s the difference between hating children and hating disabled adults that share the traits you find so irritating?

taku my beloved...
Strong as fuck ice mummy where are you in my time of need?
sleeping in a small chamber past the forest of knowledge, beneath the navel of the Gigantic.
i love it and hate it when a character in a story is so obviously created to be cool and awesome and then i do think they're cool and awesome. like fuck, yeah, ok, they're fucking epic. swag as hell. you got me you coolbaited me ok? i'm coolbaited.
I do have to wonder if part of the reason that I find SciADV so endearing is that most of the characters in the vns have some form of neurodivergent traits, like how heavily autism-coded a lot of the characters are, but also in particular how those traits aren't really portrayed as negative for the most part.
Moeka's use of a phone to communicate is (in the novels at least, and in both versions of s;g0) generally accepted by the rest of the characters, and while there are a few comments about how it's kind of strange, it's not really brought up outside of that. Okabe forcing her into a "conversation" (he was screaming at her but I digress) without her phone in Endless Apoptosis is even portrayed as being explicitly bad.
Takuru struggles with talking to new people, seemingly because he's not "used to them" yet. When he decides to go talk to Arimura, Onoe asks him if he'll "be okay doing it, are you used to her yet?" before offering to go with him to assist.
Kazuki is almost entirely non-verbal, communicating purely through gestures and grunts, and while they call her weird when she's first introduced, it's just accepted from then on that she doesn't talk. I haven't finished the vn yet and I wouldn't be surprised if she suddenly started talking (as is common with non-verbal characters) but even so, it's nice to see.
There's maybe something to be said about how so many characters in the materials seem to be some form of neurodivergent, I really don't know why exactly that is, but I do find it interesting and rather endearing nonetheless

Saya
First drawing test for Saya
Life must be a rollercoaster for the D class. You live in a shitty prison cell for the remainder of your probably extremely short life. One day some security guards show up and take you to a big room where a scientist tells you to copy an image onto some paper. You do. The scientist shrugs and writes something down and you're taken back.
One day a scientist hands you a poptart and says "eat this". You say "is it full of some kind of fucked up interdimensional poison". The scientist says "eat it or that security guard will tase you and tie you down and make you eat it". You eat the poptart. It is not full of fucked up interdimensional poison, but it is kind of stale. You describe the taste to the scientist and he shrugs and writes something down and you go back to your shitty cell.
One day a security guard takes you to a big room and there's a flute sitting on a table. A scientist tells you "play Hot Cross Buns on that". You explain that you do not know how to play the flute. You are instructed to try. You play the flute and get immediately get dragged into some incomprehensible shadow dimension and torn to pieces for no reason that makes any sense to you. You are very lucky to have survived so long and died so quickly.
This guy will spend hours staring at his blank wall and wondering what the fuck was in that chamber and why they thought he might know.

at this point I'm becoming convinced that the Kurisu Archetype of "rude Brain Science genius who works at Viktor Chondria University and wears lab coats a lot" is some kind of invasive species of character in these novels
I know this is supposed to be the "ooo scary negative delusion" but I was laughing my ass off the whole time this was happening it reads like a terrible improv bit. it's not helped by the fact that Itou essentially delivers the whole thing as a run-on sentence
