Obama was a piece of shit and is a war criminal and I'm so so so so sick of seeing people defend his record. Obama is THE SAME as bush, he KEPT LYING about the war in Afghanistan, he LIED about Guantanamo and even re-allowed indefinite detention there after putting on a show of acting like he was going to shut the place down. Black Lives Matter popped into existence under his regime, and what did he do? what efforts did he make? also this:
"Under the Obama administration, total ICE deportations were above 385,000 each year in fiscal years 2009-2011, and hit a high of 409,849 in fiscal 2012. The numbers dropped to below 250,000 in fiscal years 2015 and 2016.
Under Trump, ICE deportations fell to 226,119 in fiscal 2017, then ticked up to over 250,000 in fiscal 2018 and hit a Trump administration high of 282,242 this fiscal year (as of June 2019)."
The Trump Regime is actually struggling to deport as many people as Obama's regime did.
I know kids on this website love to be âanti-troopâ but can we be serious for a second and give a big round of applause to honor our brave vietnam veterans who fought to save your freedom
george orwell: all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. this is oppression in the ussr. now let me report this homosexual communist sympathizer to the british empire
people who learned about politics from facebook memes:

remember when the soviet union wasnât perfect, the US dumped billions of dollars into groups who werenât happy with the soviet union, then used the existence of these groups as a pretext to support the dissolution of the soviet union? and then tens of millions of people died when living conditions collapsed as their country, which was deeply flawed but could have realised its potential to end suffering, was cut apart and privatised for the benefit of a handful of US-backed billionaires? anyway, just something that happened that i thought was worth remembering
âThe materialist conception of history starts from the proposition that the production of the means to support human life and, next to production, the exchange of things produced, is the basis of all social structure; that in every society that has appeared in history, the manner in which wealth is distributed and society divided into classes or orders is dependent upon what is produced, how it is produced, and how the products are exchanged.â
â Friedrich Engels, Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, 1880
NestlĂŠ wants to keep pumping millions of gallons of water from one of Florida's most beautiful natural springs for bottling, paying nothing
Plastic bottled water shouldnât exist !! Capitalism turned a natural resource necessary for survival into a commodity and we treat it like itâs normal.
Speaking of Nestle, did you know that in San CristĂłbal de las Casas, Mexico, with an issue of unsafe water, Coca Cola sucks water dry and sells drinks to citizens who have little choice but to buy them? Did you know itâs causing a deadly health crisis?
All these bottled drink companies deliberately deprive people of necessities, especially poor and vulnerable people, and it results in environmental destruction, death, and health crises.
During natural disasters companies selling drinks get caught price gouging because they know people are going to fucking die without them.
Itâs all about exploitation and money, take what people need so theyâve got no choice but to pay for it. That is the logic here.
â The whole proletariat must be armed at once with muskets, rifles, cannon and ammunition, and the revival of the old-style citizensâ militia, directed against the workers, must be opposed. Where the formation of this militia cannot be prevented, the workers must try to organize themselves independently as a proletarian guard, with elected leaders and with their own elected general staff; they must try to place themselves not under the orders of the state authority but of the revolutionary local councils set up by the workers. Where the workers are employed by the state, they must arm and organize themselves into special corps with elected leaders, or as a part of the proletarian guard. Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary. The destruction of the bourgeois democratsâ influence over the workers, and the enforcement of conditions which will compromise the rule of bourgeois democracy, which is for the moment inevitable, and make it as difficult as possible â these are the main points which the proletariat and therefore the League must keep in mind during and after the approaching uprising. â

Homeless people are human beings with immense value. They are members of our families, communities, neighborhoods, cities, and, for a number of people reading this, they are themselves (or have been).
The fact that homeless people do not have housing is a wrong done against them, not a sign they did something wrong. To then try and ban them from public spaces and existing in public (including doing things we all have to do, like sleep or eat), is yet another grievous wrong.
An attack on homeless people is not âprotecting the communityâ, it is an attack on the community. Homeless people arenât my enemy, those who would ban them from things like sleeping in public are my enemy.
