hello my name is darcy and i am 22. i use she/he/they pronouns and im an aro bisexual butch. i work with dogs in real life - i was in the animal rescue world and now i train service dogs. my main blog is @mighwnt
i live in america and will mostly use american names for breeds as well as AKC standards.
i have one dog, lucy, who i adopted from the shelter i worked at. she is a poodle mix and we are currently working on her novice trick dog title.
some of my favorite breeds include: bedlington terriers, poodles, pekignese, cocker spaniels, spitz-type breeds, pit bulls and bully mixes, doberman pinschers, bull terriers, laizhou hong, collies, xolos, and greyhounds.
some of my other favorite animals include: red pandas, rats, hamsters, cats, rabbits, tigers, guinea pigs, doves, and otters.

Starting the trial year off with a bang. Ryker has his debut in Novice and Rally Advanced, off leash heeling!
Ryker was the happiest I have ever seen him while doing anything with obedience. He was sloppy, bouncy and unfocused, but so happy. I almost cried. This sensitive boy who took everything too serious and worried about it was goofing off in the ring, goofing off WITH me. Not stress zoomies, not running up to the judge or stewards. Just bouncing around me with a wagging tail.
I can easily work with that to add more precision. I just wanted happiness first.
Rally he was happy and bouncy for the first half and started to deflate after I messed up my footwork and I couldn't help him recover. Rally may still not be in the cards for him long term.
