( ... ) we're so glad you're excited ! we actually have made a decision , & hopefully it's one that you all won't hate too badly , but we've decided that we're gonna do a dark academia golden trio era au ! at the end of the day , we have a grasp on the characters we've chosen to write & want to develop them some more which factored into our decision !

( ... ) the thing is that we love both eras & would have fun with either , so we're not a very good tiebreaker lmao ! on one hand , the golden trio era does have more characters to work with , but on the other hand , the marauders era has a lot of in - depth characterizations , so we're torn !

( ... ) they're fairly easy to get the hang of & there are plenty of tutorials out there ! i think discordhelp might be your best bet on finding some answers to your questions , but if you apply for our group , we would be happy to help you out in any way that we can !

( ... ) fun fact : we actually have an entire plot & forty - eight skeletons outlined for a dark academia inspired golden trio era roleplay ! we just weren't sure if anyone would be interested in joining since it always seemed like the marauders era was more popular !

( ... ) we're open to any genre really ! dark academia is a big one , of course , with maybe a tradition of a night swim during the winter ending up with one of the students missing , or maybe even something more au based on the wilds where the marauders era characters are stranded on an island as part of some experiment , or even exploring a documentary crew who is filming the students at hogwarts after some sort of scandal ! the possibilities are endless , & we would love to hear what interests you the most !

( ... ) unfortunately , neither of us are well - versed in tumblr roleplays anymore & like that discord is very mobile friendly , so we probably wouldn't consider making this a tumblr roleplay ! i'm so sorry about that , but hopefully you still consider joining us !
