I know it’s been over a year since I posted this, but in case anyone wanted to know how this VR adventure went… Long story short, the headset was really uncomfortable so I ended up returning it and just giving up on the whole VR thing altogether. While trying to ignore the lack of comfort, the view was pretty underwhelming. I could see every single pixel on my iPhone 6S+’s screen even with the lenses finely adjusted for my eyes. Seeing the distinct RGB lines of each pixel was pretty distracting. The reason why I’m reblogging this post now with an update is because I’ve been recently thinking about giving the VR via iPhone thing another go since I got an iPhone XS Max in October 2018 and the pixel density per inch is about 50 more pixels than the 6S+. *shrugs* I’ll try not to forget to update you guys on whether or not it was a success this time around. XD

If you still don’t want to go for a Rift or Vive, try a Windows Mixed Reality headset. Those usually are cheaper from what I hear, those super cheat 50$ headsets are pretty bad and if they use a phone as the display, just forget about it. But if you at some point do decide to get a good VR headset, I can only recommend getting a Rift since I own one and it’s pretty fun (also 200 dollar cheaper than the Vive). Make sure to get the bundle with controllers though and that you have enough room for it.

I can never stop posting this. The narrow minded bible fanatics that just look at one small thing in the bible then feed the world with their hate over it. At the same time they ignore all the other silly laws made by man they claimed were made by god. These gif’s say it all.

Fact is, they don’t. They may learn what a few words mean for commands, but you can’t talk to a dog like that, they are not human, they don’t understand your language. The dog here is just reacting to the tone she is speaking in. If you want to discipline a dog you have to do it instantly when the dog is misbehaving with a little shove or a clear “No!”. Laughing, petting and talking in “baby voice” (the voice people do when they usually talk to a baby or dog) usually makes dogs think they are getting rewarded for something. So yeah even try not to do that when they are scared of something as they then think they get rewarded for being scared and running away for example.
