Turkey Bacon Addiction
As I was getting past five and half months of pregnancy and my morning sickness was easing up a little bit I started to crave Turkey Bacon. I searched several shops and supermarkets, unfortunately, itβs not as popular as I thought it might be and could only find it one of my local superstores. However, once I found it, I FOUND IT! During my turbulent time with morning sickness, I had gone off of so many foods that I once loved so much such as chicken which I used to eat at least five times a week. In fact, I was struggling to keep any meat down at all and I know my body needed the iron and proteins for the baby. When I first purchased the turkey bacon I was nervous that it might make me sick, I was pleasantly surprised when I ate a turkey bacon sandwich and managed to keep it down. Furthermore, it didnβt even make me feel sick at all! I was over the moon and from there, my turkey bacon addiction was born!Β
Near enough every single day I would eat a Turkey Bacon sandwich for brunch. It gave me energy, tasted nice and stopped me from being sick. As the weeks went on I became a little more daring and started to add cheese to the sandwich and tomato sauce. I would look forward to eating this meal almost every day for at least a month. After about six or seven weeks I woke up one day and my craving for turkey bacon had completely disappeared. I didnβt feel like I wanted to eat any and I had a fresh pack unopened in my fridge. The next day I felt the same, I didnβt fancy eating the turkey bacon, nor the day after. I decided to freeze the turkey bacon and defrost it if my craving came back. I am now nine months pregnant and the turkey bacon is still sitting inside of my freezer. I guess I must have eaten too much of it too soon. Maybe one day my craving will come back. I canβt lie I thoroughly enjoyed the turkey bacon days and I recommended for any pregnant woman to try it! Especially if she is struggling to keep meats down as I was.
