The near impossible challenge in the Merlin fandom of letting Morgana be the mess morally grey characters she is without put all the blame of her choices she made of her own volition onto the soul survivor of a genocide because he a man while ignore that Morgana was a noble and Merlin is of common birth so she has more hierarchical power then him.
