The last couple of days have been rough mentally and active SI too. I lied and said I was okay yesterday. Woke up this morning with the same mindset of “why am I here?”

Spent this morning feeling guilty for calling into work. My sister said in a text yesterday and today, that I should “focus on the good things in life” and that I’ve survived “100% of my worst days.” That didn’t help one f**king bit. I won’t reach out to her when my mental health is struggling.

Seeing “we need you back here” from my boss today helped me to see that everything will be okay.

Doing some self care today by crocheting on an afghan for myself. There are many crochet projects that have been started for others. Felt it would be best for my mental health to focus on making something for me. Self care is a key part of your mental health.
