oh god has it already been over a year? this selectric is still broken and sitting on my work bench :(

2 years! let's give it up for 2 years of not fixing this fucking thing

we've been sitting around fires enjoying fires longer than there's been humans whoever's saying a campfire is a weird or bad smell needs to go outside

they can't go outside. what if someone has recently cut their grass and the universally-abhorred "bad/weird smell" of fresh vegetation overwhelms them (?)

i don't like the smell of fresh-cut grass but that's because i associate it with a youth spent sneezing my head off until we found an antihistamine that worked at all

real talk, one of the most interesting realizations I've had as an adult is this kind of thing. MOST of my "dislikes" of certain substances are actually allergies. I don't think that's always true, but it is true so often I think it should be more widely known
