{ OOC   //   hey guys. this is a TEMPORARY HIATUS announcement, going into effect today. one of the keys on my laptop keyboard has decided that today is the perfect time to fall off completely, and no matter what i do it won’t let me replace it, so i’m going to go and see if i can get it repaired / replaced today. due to this i likely won’t have access to tumblr for at least a couple days, and i apologize.hopefully you’ll bear with me as i try to get this situation fixed. sorry for the short notice and all, but i promise i’m trying to get this fixed asap so i can get back to replying. }

{ ABOUT IAN   //   ian is a fan of watching old cartoons whenever he’s sick. whether it be a simple cold or something far more serious, the first thing ian will do is turn on his television and find an old saturday morning cartoon channel to make background noise while he (or whoever might be taking care of him) recovers. his favorites are scooby doo (and its various spin-offs), woody woodpecker, and anything involving the flintstones or the jetsons. }

One of his legs shifts, bending at the knee to pull close to his chest as he closes his eyes. “I would’ve wanted it to be someone, anyone else, if I had a choice in it. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of perks to being a vampire, and the Brujah ain’t all bad, despite their reputation, but if I was gonna be one I would’ve wanted it to be my choice. My choice to take it and become a vampire if I wanted, or my choice to become a ghoul even. Or hell, my choice not to take it at all. But I didn’t get that. You, though. You’ve got a choice here. And while I can’t say you’d be makin’ the wrong one, choosing this life, I won’t say you’re makin’ the right one, either. Things can be fucked up in the world of the Kindred, sometimes even more than you’d think. If you think Gotham’s bad now, wait until you see its real underbelly. It’s the stuff of nightmares sometimes.” His opened his eyes, turning his head to the left as he flashed a fanged smile. “But I can’t make that decision for you.
