30. whos your favourite anime character?

my knowledge of/experience with the anime is pretty patchy. ive watched a couple of the movies; i used to watch old johto reruns after school when i was a tween; i used to use the pokemon tv app to watch the competition sequences from the diamond and pearl series. all that to say: ive never kept up with it outside of a vague understanding.

from what i remember, i really like dawn! i think she was a better realised version of may, and her competition-focused episodes were always great fun to watch.

i like goh conceptually. i think its a bit weird that the tagline for the anime is "gotta catch em all" when that was never ashs goal; goh seemed to fill in that role really nicely! i kind of wish they had utilised goh after the producers decided to retire ash. i think he would have given the series a really good excuse to basically use him as a walking advertisement for all of the new pokemon in the new generation, especially if they werent going to simply lift the story from the game verbatim.

31. who is your favourite character from the video games?

i have a dreadful soft spot for steven stone because he was my first fictional crush that i can remember. hes nice to you and hes hot; what more could a girl want? i like adaman for the same reasons.

bianca from black and white is SUCH a sweetheart. she deserves a kiss on the forehead and good luck for the rest of her life.

i used to be a hop hater but hes REALLY grown on me. hes a better person that ill ever be. i feel so bad for that poor kid.

nemona charmed me the instant i played violet for the first time; i love her sincerity and enthusiasm.

chairman rose and lysandre are very similar villains to me, and i like both of them a lot. i tend to extrapolate a bit when thinking about their motivations, but i like to think that my assumptions are at least plausible.

36. who was your first starter?

my very first pokemon game was emerald, and the starter i chose was mudkip!

anthro interpretation of shino ft. an extremely inaccurate version of her clothes that i threw together. shes supposed to be a goat/antelope thing but she gives off such strong kitsune energy that i wanted to include that, so shes a... kirin/goat/fox hybrid ??? shes one of my boyfriends dreamies and we headcanon her to be a mischief spirit.
