The Love for Turtles Project . . . π’π’π’ 'Love for Turtles' is a self driven project to create awareness on the vulnerable species, the turtle, and to get a hold on our contribution to balance & co-exist with the nature. Turtles are shy, intelligent and warm creatures. Recently, there has been a sudden increase in the death of turtles along the coastal areas. The reason for their death is because :- their home, where they lay eggs, is now a garbage dumping zone and their daily routine of swimming in the ocean is also filled with our garbage. The major cause of their death is each and every one of our actions/contributions to kill the species. We are the largest producers of so-called garbage. The amount of waste we produce in our daily lives ultimately gets collected in the ocean. This is due to a lack of Recycling Plants and Irresponsible Management of waste disposal. This is a major threat. What will you do if your house and work place is a pile of garbage? Well, some places are already like that. What can we do:- - Understand, analyse and be aware - Get the knowledge - Create more awareness, educate others - Realize, Reuse, Recycle 'One man's waste is another man's treasure' - a saying I came across which remained in my thoughts. Work on this. . To begin with, just answer these questions for yourself:- How much of waste do you make in a day? Why do you feel ashamed of cleaning your own shit? Do you know where they end up? Do you monitor? Can you reuse and recycle? Do you? Are you aware? Are you creating awareness? How are you influencing others? .
