I just saw the coolest painting! 🍋 It’s super funny how it mixes a hand with a lemon. I love how bright the colors are! Art is so interesting! 🎨

"Mom I have something specil for you!" Sometimes, I need time to create an eye-catching idea. Something that screams: "Hey! Look at me how cool and creative I am!" And then... she arrives, reminding me that the most "explosive" ideas come from the simplest things. Even from what we really have at hand.

I always watched my father from below as he flew from one conquest to the next. I still watch him now as a child loves his hero! He was always a hard worker and he still is. He has never been a big talker but his gestures and his way of doing have always spoken for him. He has always taught me that nothing is given away: you must always have a goal and work to achieve it. I've learned to be a workhorse and not be afraid to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I've also learned to face the fact that many things in life aren't easy and that if something is really worth it then he works for it. He taught me that when the solution is not at hand, stop and think. It's easy to tell when something clouds his mind, because he quits his job and he starts to walk in the back yard. This helps him think to carve a path through the fog. Clarity and focus take hold to overcome the obstacle and fly far again. My father: one of the most inspiring people in my life!

The great thing about having dad at home is spending time together planning fun activities or games. The Chloe and her dad favorite hobby is painting and what better way to bond again and create new memories on Father’s Day? Once again, their #brushes crossed like two swords in one of the most decisive battle ever fought for the  most beautiful painting. Me? The judge as always! In silence behind the plate of colors to spy on them in their most natural activity. Each country celebrates Father's Day on different days and even months. We celebrated the Italian one (yesterday), the English one and the Mauritian one. Think how much we love our dad!

A friend asked me, "How can you be so creative?" I still can't fully accept the compliments offered to me. I always define myself as a slightly "rusty artist". Sometimes the creative river comes out more fluid and other times the ideas are not very clear or are completely missing. In this moment where responsibilities almost completely crowd my time and my mind, I continually encourage myself to seek my "creative being". I set aside time each day to practice and allow myself to be wrong without judgment. The pencil awakens my "sleeping creativity". With her I learn, I learn new things but also the things I love most to draw and find new and interesting ways to combine them. It doesn't matter whether your tool is a pencil, a brush to paint canvases, scissors to cut flowers to assemble them in a bouquet or a pan to create amazing dishes. Always encourage your art and creativity.
