Lee had began to nod his head forcefully as his countenance morphed into one of anger and worry with the slight albeit subtle identification of annoyance; he snapped his form back to the other as he did so. His legs managed to endure moving as he painfully sauntered up and down the ground they had stood on; pondering what words he could utter back to the other. 

It's just completely bewildering how much she had changed and grew, Lee didn't even want to believe she had done so; he was so tied up in the thought of her when she was once young that he didn't even for one second think about her when she was older. This is merely the price he had to pay for being so stupid and not thinking things over. He just had to deal with it. He now he had too.
